Quick reply quoting

Hi, not sure if this is an IE8 issue or an OW issue. Just today, when I click the quick reply tab (right next to quote), it quotes instead of allowing me to quick reply. I hovered over the tab and it says "quick reply", so it's not an overlapping link from what I can tell....

Just a heads up - not sure if it's my issue or the board's..

I have been using the quick reply for some time now and not had any trouble ... I would venture to guess since you are just now having this problem then it may be something in IE8 causing it ... it is still in Beta after all :bbconfused:

I have noticed that I get an error on the page message when I use the quick reply, but so far it has not affected its use for me.

But I will mention it to the tech people.

I agree, most likely it's IE8. I'm going to uninstall it since it stinks! Even though it hasn't crashed on me, it's got too many lines and it made my OW home page smaller :urgh: :irked: I'll let you know if that fixes it.

I know sometimes when I use quick reply, type and then push the post button it won't ever go but I have a Mac and use firefox.

I have that happen sometimes too; I just use the "Go Advanced" and submit that way. Not sure what the deal with it is, but at least it is not all the time and there is an easy way around it.
