I actually got a lot of that stuff off of ebay (knife etc.)! Being that we were enaged before we have a lot of the little things. Im just not sure on some of the things anymore. Like my Tiara, it depends on the hairstyle I do, to say weather I want a Tiara or a clip of some sort.
I do feel better that I posted everything we have already, it made me realize that I have a ton of stuff already =)

Thank you =) I got that ring the first time we got engaged, when we seperated for a short time, out of anger, he sold it. When we got engaged again this time, I wanted the same ring. I fell in love with that ring the first time! He had to go on a hunt for it because they stopped making it recently and the store had to have the last one in the US shipped to him! It makes it so much more meaningful that he went through all that trouble, just to get me the ring back that I loved so much =)

This song has a ton of meaning, when me and steve first got together and we had our first real fight, he sent me those lyrics and I thought it was the cutest thing! I still have them! We just decided this lastnight and he said he is going to cry because there is so much meaning behind it!

But its going to be remixed! My dad is very much into hip hop and me and my daddy have a very close fun relationship. so we are going to start with that and then break it down lol =)

i love crystal, lace is okay, i dont like tooooo much lace though ya know. i guess my main concern is the poof factor and how much i want or that looks good on me. the mermaid/ trumpet style is extremely classy i think and im afraid of too much poof. but so far, none of those are very big and frilly... i dont think. Definitely strapless and definitely a-line.

If you don't want poof, just make sure you don't get a ball gown which will have definite poof (I call them "cupcake dresses" since they make you lok like a cupcake topper!). Tell them you'd like to stick to a-line styles which give you that nice flow without it being too over the top.

yah, to me, it looks like some nice scrapbooking paper and then the front looks like photo gloss paper... i suggest putting the table number and pictures on both side.. then a hole punch and bow on the top.. so simple, its silly :)

I totally love the candy buffet idea. I decided against doing one of them, but I found the greatest candy site that lets you browse by color. I didn't see anything in teal, but they have lots of pink and brown and it could give you some ideas.

Yeah, they were one of the cheapest I was able to find. There was one other site I really liked because they had some unique stuff in different colors but it's a little more expensive and it's been so long since I checked it out, I honestly don't remember what the name of it was.

Okay Ladies, so I know I havent been on here in so long. I miss all you girls! For an update:

I went dress shopping this morning and we went to a few places. First this morning, we went to Brides against breast cancer fundraiser. And I must say, I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea and what it stands for and what the proceeds go to. However I will say I was pretty disapointed in what they had. I know not everything was going to be new, but i'd say 95% of the stuff had been used.
So after that we went to Demetrios. I tried on about 12 dresses and knew it the second I put it on. I put it back on about 3 times and everytime, I got extremely hot. If you know me you know I get panic attacks lol. So it hit reality that IM GETTING MARRIED! I also in a weird aspect, felt VERY comortable in it! So hot and comfy lol! Oh how funny! I love that cake, but didnt go with that one. We chose the other one with the bows. It will have 3 layers instead of 5. Girl you need to start a journal pronto, so we can see how each other is coming along =)

Ok so I went to a small mom and pop jewelry store and got Steve the EXACT ring he wanted! it came in and is the perfect one! Unfortunately I couldn't have it engraved because of the type of metal, but thats okay. Its the one he originally wanted from day one of wedding band looking and Im SUPER happy about that =)

Also, I ordered my invites, response cards, and place cards. The site I wanted to get them from was having a sale, so I didn't want to let the great deal pass by without ordering them =)

My mom also bought me our toasting flutes and caker knife and server. The one's my sister got me the first time we got engaged had our old wedding date on it and they couldn't cover the date. So we got new ones =)

My hunny created the save the dates and we ordered them today finally.

And I believe thats about it for now lol I can't think of anything else new.

Your invitations and your card box are just beautiful. Your color theme is wonderful. Very, very nice. JeanM invites are usually soooooo expensive so good thing you saved some money ~ they are prescious. One thing I would say ~ ORDER EXTRA ENVELOPES!! I NEVER thought I would say this but I addressed & SEALED over 50 envelopes without putting stamps on the RSVPS!! And, I've made at least 20-some spelling or marker mistakes on other envelopes. I am literally going to go through all of my extra 100 envelopes. :bbredface: I recommend having someone help you and doing an assembly line, FYI.

You can hear it on Youtube, it's called the Wedding Song by Paul Stookie (of Peter, Paul and Mary. He wrote it for Peter's wedding).
