Little things

My husband left this morning after I did (I left around 6:50) because he's going away for work for a few days. I was rushing around all day.....classes 8 to 12, grocery store, post office etc. Much to my surprise, I came home to a perfectly clean house, all the dishes done, and even a pot of coffee made for me.

Little things like that make me very happy. I'm just feeling like a lucky woman today! :chimp:

That was sweet of him! I've got a great hubby too. He cooks/bakes for me all the time. Yep, we're lucky! :)

OMG! I came home last night and my hunny had cleaned the house, done the dishes, lit candles and turned on the Christmas tree. It was so sweet because he said "I just wanted you to come home from work and have the cozy, clean house feeling, and I appreciate all you do." Sounds like there was a little something in the air yesterday? Your hubby sounds like a sweety ;)

Aw ya'lls hubbys sound like definate sweethearts! I cna't wait to move in with FH so we can do things like that for one another:)

Right now it suffices that on a hot summer day if he knows I'm on my way to his house he'll fix me a cold drink and have it waiting in the fridge for me when I get there:)

If my FH was reading this thread he could jump in with "OMG my fiance does all that stuff for me ALL the time!"

Sadly, because it's me reading this thread, I'll just say that he's cute as a button but the biggest slob I've ever known. Ha. :)

I think the the only thing my dh has done for me that made me say "awww" was he emptied the dishwasher. Now asking for a clean house, laundry and dishes done in one day... ha ha ha ha ha ha that would be the day pigs fly.. because he would never do it!!!:icon_barbar: But I love him anyway

Today after FH picked me up from work I said: "Have I told you that I appreciate you?"
FH being who he is replies: "not recently. no."
And I preceded to tell him about my boss who had been talking about her back was hurting her and had been the night before. What stuck with me was when she said "I'm the one who makes dinner and my back hurt so much dinner had to be late!"
And I'm thinking; why wouldn't someone offer to make YOU dinner since you're in pain?

Things like that remind me how lucky I am to have someone who takes such good care of me.

Aww!! How sweet!! :D

I gotta brag on my hubby, too, i guess. XD i had to get up super early on Thanksgiving day for work (i had to get up 5:45.. o.o;)... Steve woke up, made me coffee while i was in the shower, and went back to bed, lol. I thought it was cute!

Aww how sweet. We certainly are Lucky Ladies. :)

Now and again My DH will do the dishes and hoover the carpets. He also cooks Dinner when i'm too tired.
He tells everyone how lucky He is because i look after Him so well. But i'm the lucky one to have finally found a Guy who loves Me for being Me.

I'm in a very LDR since my FH is deployed. Anyway, once in a while he'll leave me a message telling me how proud he is of me for all I have accomplished and how he can't wait for us to get married. These little things really mean a lot since we aren't able to be together. :heart:
