This is the actual email I recieved this morning!! How dare they come and spam us at our personal emails asking us to join their site. I haven't heard anything but negatives things about the way its going over there. I was shocked! I wonder if there is a spy! lol. I just reported it as spam to Hotmail. but dam, I was shocked to get that. I really didn't think it was right!! And I know that this person got my email from this site because I was looking and saw that they sent it Naomi, Nikki, Stacey,Lacey and more (but just to name a few!)

What do you think about these other forums using this site to harvest our emails?? If you ask me, I just think its wrong!! What are your thoughts?

I just...and I mean just...saw that I got this email and I was concerned as well. There is a newer member...I can't remember exactly which one at this moment..who was from thsi sight...and if I'm not mistaken Lacey might have mentioned that she used to be a member over there, so she might know more, but I too am offended that they nwould have they audacity to come and spy over here and the send us emails to our personal email accounts...that's just ridiculous. I for one want nothing to do with another site...I love all you ladies here and even though I don't post as much as I would like to...I come on and read all the time. I don't need anywhere else to go.

I got the e-mail too. I thought it was very rude for them to send us an advertisement for there board. But I guess that's a type of risk we take when we make our e-mail addresses available to people on the boards. I know a little bit about BBB from another board that I was on a LONG time again. I personally, did not like BBB much when I checked it out.

I also had to take my email off of the site. I realized that I had to take if off, which peed me off because what if one of you girls wanted to email me? This person just ruined it for everyone! Grrrrr! I hate people like that! She ruined it for others. Anyhow I wonder if that person signed up using that email, maybe they could be banned or something. I don't know.

Yup, I got it noticed "register" and deleted. Didn't think twice about it just really boggled down with school, work, my wedding, etc to pay any attention to it. I get so much spam email that it all just mix's in with rest. Seems like everyone wants to get money from me : ) LOL!!!

I got that email the other day too. I just deleted it without going to the link and didn't realise it was connected with being on this forum until this thread was started. It is not right for others to come on her and "steal" our addresses to get business for themselves.

Wow!! Some major drama has occured since I checked this thread last! I guess I'll have to put my two cents in as well.

First of all, Laylu, there was only one person who initially accused you (if you want to call it an accusation) of perhaps being the person who got the e-mail addresses. And she was not rude about it. She stated that you were a member of the other forum and that you might know more about it and how they worked. All you had to do was simply say that you are a member, but you had nothing to do with the e-mails. When you act defensive and start with the uncalled for name calling it makes it look as if you had something to do with it. Wether you did or not, calling people names is not something that we here at onewed like to deal with. We pride ourselves on being a friendly on-line community.

Secondly, it does not matter that you will be voluntarily leaving us due to the fact that after this outrageous behavior you are displaying you will probably be banned after the administrators read your posts.

Just got up at 4AM today and had over 15 emails from the forums about two threads...

If someone can go back and check that email they deleted I can ban the person that sent the emails as well as they are not to be using the forums to spam people either via the threads or the emails.

Ran the email ccrane@gmail.com and could not come up with a user here that had that email addy. Everyone must register to be able to send emails via the forums so that one has me scratching my head for now.

I have a rep over at Google, Ill give them a call later in the week and let them know they got a spammer. :p They will ban them from gmail.

I'm just wondering why someone would come onto this site and that their first post would be in defense of a girl that just got banned. I really hope that this whole mess can get figured out really soon and that the girls from BBB can stay over at BBB if they are happy there. They can take their drama back with them when they go. However, even if i was defending her, I see nothing wrong with that either. I don't even know who she is (although I WAS guessing at who it was) but say for an example she was just a random girl at BBB and came over to our site to let us know people were complaining about OUR admin spamming them and I come over to clear the air? That actually didn't happen - I found out from a third party all together about this thread. But if it did - so what?

I agree with all of you. THis is the only forum I am a member of. I have never looked at any otherone. Am I am grateful to be here. This place has kept me sane through every issue i have had. And I love cooming here and seeing what every one else is doing and give my advice if I have any. I am addicted to this site and I absoluely love it here. I will be back here after I get married. This is my home away from home. lol I like L3vi's idea about having a couple of us to help out. That would be helpful to him. He is amazing at how he keeps this place to friendly ( with the help of us letting him know what is going on ) keep it up L3vi. And thanks to all you girls who I see and talk to every day on here. I have a feeling, even though she claims it wasn't her, that laylu was in fact Rachel....There is a girl on UW that I don't get along with very much and her husband's name is Charlie Crane, which would explain the ccrane...If it was her, there was no major loss with her leaving..Rachel LOVES to start trouble, as her posts at UW will show..and the fact that she was banned from there.

Good thing Lacey isn't here is right...She would put ms. laylu right in her place! I love the idea of more moderators and I am always happy to help!

I think we totaly turned this thread into how much we like each and how much we love it here. This just goes to show we dont put up with anything. I may not know alot of the new ladies on here YET but I do not intend to go anywhere after I am married. So I will get to know them. Right now I am just stuck in the mind fram of my own wedding. But back on subject, we all support and love one anther and no one can break that apart. As in the past any drama that has come up has not lasted for long. We kick butt here. Way to go ladies. Okay...I ended up checking this thread again...even though I said I wouldn't..lol...but I;m glad that I did. It showed me how great all of you ladies are and how much we all love one another. I am glad that all of that drama only brought us all closer together and showed them that we will band together. I hope that that is the last that we will being seeing of the BBB clan of drama starting "women".

wow, I can't believe what i'm reading. I'm a member at BBB as well as uw and weddingsloutions and wedding announcer and BBB is a great site. I know they have been having problems with people impersonating their members and creating trouble at other sites so that they get spammed.

Maybe you guys should do a little research before accusing BBB. They don't need to spam, they have a lot of great members.

As for the person who responded to the member above me - whats with this response - 'if you like BBB so much, why dont you go there' - how rude is that? Can't people like both boards? I would NEVER say anything like that to anyone who was at my board - not even if they simply mentioned they liked another board, not even if they said straight out that they hated mine.
