I wore a cheap necklace and now I have a green ring around the collar. Not only is it unsightly, but it's horribly embarrasing!
To make matters worse I'm cooped up in a hotel until Thursday while my building gets tented for termites. Grrrrrrr!
This hasn't happened to me in a long time and I don't know how to speed up the de-greening. Anybody have any ideas???
:icon_barbar:this guy looks like me!

I have no idea but I would start with Baby oil or Make up remover?

I have been searching for like 10 minutes and cannot find anything on how to remove it. I would try nail polish remover. Hope it works!

I know, right? I googled it like crazy and I found what causes it 10X over, but how to get rid of it...nada.
I think maybe time and patience and a turtleneck might be on the agenda??
Try taking some iron pills. My friend turns green even with expensive/quality jewelry because she has an iron defficiency. Just a thought.... I'm sorry it's so embarrassing! Try soaking in the bathtub for awhile....?
Awe! I have no suggestions, but just wanted to say "awe!" :D

If it doesn't come off with soap and water, I would try some rubbing alcohol; or maybe some paste toothpaste - not gel. I was going to suggest ketchup too - but that polishes copper, not removes it DUH - but then again - you never know!

lol awe that happens to me too when I wear fashion jewelry, sometimes my ears get infected when I wear anything else but 18k gold earrings.
Usually soap and water does it for me, maybe you could try jewelry cleaner lol
good luck :)

Let us know what works. What about calling a local jewelry and asking for their opinion of what could work?

Update -
I scrubbed the cr@p out of it last night with a loofah I bought on my way home. A little bit of pressure and elbow grease and I am back to my normal self. No more :icon_barbar:...just when I was going to go out and buy myself a big stick...tee hee...
Thanks for all the helpful hints.
