Moving

I won't be around for a few days since I will be moving into the new place this weekend. I am so overwelmed right now with all there is to do! I have a lot of the small stuff packed, but it still seems like there is so much more to go. We are going to pick up the new furniture tomorrow and take it to the house, then more packing. Sunday is the BIG move. Somewhere I have to at least re-clean one bathroom in the new house, and clean my old apartment. And hopefully I will get the final OK to get my new puppy next weekend! Wish me luck ladies, I will need it! I will try to check in at FH's house whenever I can. I don't know when I will get my computer put back together and all the lines connected. It will be at least until Tuesday.

Good luck and have fun Nikki!! We're most likely moving again in September, so I know how annoying moving can get. We'll have moved three times in the last twelve months!!

Do we get to see pics?? Oh cr@p that reminds me, I never posted pics of the inside of our new house like I had promised! opps! :bbredface: Oh well, I don't think anyone really cares to see it now, we've been in it so long! lol

Oh I hear ya! I think I would have to do some major cleaning too! lol. Maybe I will just because! lol. Wouldn't it be nice to have a "Share your house thread" ? I don't know, they are so many other things like games and stuff that I'm sure we could get away with it! lol :wink:

Thanks for the good wishes Ladies. Well, today is the BIG moving day. I still haven't taken apart my computer yet...LOL. Yesterday we picked up the new living room furniture. Steve also went out a bought some Bug Bombs since he saw a few spiders in the house. He set those off yesterday and on his way over today he's going to open up the windows to start airing out the place. HOpefully the stuff isn't that stong when we get there since I am allergic to a lot of bug sprays and repellants. We aren't going to get everything moved today. As long as the big stuff goes, I'm happy. There will still be a few things here. I ran out of boxes (again) so I will be packing up the rest of the stuff on Tuesday. They were putting new carpet through out the whole house and didn't have it finished in time. So, the guys is coming back Tuesday to finish it off. So the spare mattrass will be staying at my old apartment and I'll sleep there Monday night. Then in the morning I can finished cleaning the old place and move the last of the stuff. I can't wait till this is all done!

Have fun Nikki! The same thing happened to us with spiders in our new house. They were big and black and I was always finding them and screaming because I hate spiders! lol. Hope the bug bomb works for you! :)

Hello ladies! I am finally all moved in and have my internet hooked up. I have been going through withdraw the last few days not being able to come online and talk with y'all. Apparently I missed some drama. Glad everything seems to be back the wonderful site I love!
Moving went....ok. Of course the weather decided to actually heat up and we were moving in 90+ degree weather. I have been really frustrated since it seems like everything has been going wrong with this move. Things breaking, bed not fitting up the stairs (the only way to get it in!), plus some other things. Plus work is goign down hill fast. I'm glad to be able to come on here now and get away from it all and spend time with my friends. Hope everyone is doing well!

I'm glad you got moved in and you're back with us! Sorry the move wasn't really that easy. I've moved a thousand times it seems and it's never easy. Something always gets scratched or broken.

Sorry to hear the move isn't going well! Every time we move there is always snow on the ground!! I don't know which is lesser of two evils. Hee hee! Sorry to hear something broke...one of our wedding gifts broke in our last move...I was disappointed but it wasn't huge. Glad to have you back, hope work gets better for ya soon!!
