So I was balancing my checkbook to my statement the other day and I kept coming up with an extra $10+ according to the statement.
After going over stuff trying to figure out what hadn't gone through, I found that it was a purchase from Target that I made back in AUGUST for $10.59! So I guess Target must have lost something :bbconfused:
I am not going to spend the money just yet (I like to try and keep at least $20 in there anyway), but how long should I wait, till the end of the year?
One time I had bought something for over $100 and the place never cashed the check, so after over a year I just put the money back in.

I wrote a check for my sons daycare pictures in August and they cashed it last week...I completely forgot about it and I am terrible about balancing my checkbook. I GOT AN OVERDRAFT FEE :bbeek: AHHH. I was kind of mad, but really it was my own fault.
It was a 75.00$ check too!

Well I had another issue with my checkbook yesterday; I ended up with an overdraft and a $35 NSF fee. I finally figured out that I had bought some stuff online with a PayPal check card and forgot to write it down :whyme:
Also; I figured out the problem I originally posted about here ... my dumb @ss wrote it down twice

I'm REALLY hoping we don't have a bounced check on our hands tomorrow.. >.< Steve STILL hasn't got his unemployment office, though they said he'd most likely get it by the 4th.. Smart us, sent in our rent check with a note asking them not to cash it till the 8th. I really hope we have some surprise money in there tomorrow. :( I'll never get a house if this bombs Steve's credit.. Amongst other bad things that may happen.....
