View Full Version : Weather....
So, yesterday I took the pooches for a walk. What do I hear? A Lawn mower! We were having SNOW flurries. As I am sitting here typing, I hear a snow blower! We may have 2 inches of snow out there, it is super windy and cold! I will wait till Doug gets home and he can shovel. :) I can live with it. :winktongue:

Lawn mower? Hmmm maybe he's jerry rigged it so that it blows snow?
We had snow last night ... then freezing rain and now rain. Several schools north of us are closed due to the icy conditions. Poor DH has to go out in this crud but I am inside, warm and happy painting away, whilst I watch the birdies and squirrels in the back yard. I don't think life could get much better than this.

I had to laugh at this, Matt always makes fun of me because I will say things like.... You'll have to Jimmy rig it. I've never heard anyone say "Jerry rig" before haha have I been saying it wrong my whole life!?!?!
I'm soooo glad we don't get snow here :) (at least not actual snow)

lol, I have just always heard it called "rig"...but I did google it and according to the urban dictionary, they are both right!
Now for the weather, it's not snowing, but it is sooo cold here! And windy! I hate this weather and wish I didn't have to come to work in it...it's just so depressing!

Brilliant sunshine in the UK and a little bit chilly. But no wind, no rain, no snow. Just a million leaves on the lawn from the Oak Tree next to Our house.

I would wonder what someone was doing with a lawn mower in the snow too!
Here it has been a little rainy for the last few days and about 50'ish outside.
It is about 38 degrees out right now and it is suppose to get below 30 tonight. The forecast for the week will have us in the mid to high 30's to low-mid 50's with a few showers sprinkled in.
We may have some ice on the roads if it gets too cold out, but we rarely get much snow.

Heck, everywhere arounf us snowed pretty good this weekend. As for us, I can still see the grass in the yard and to be honest could cut it.

I can't believe it, it actually snowed yesterday! Pretty hard for awhile too. Of course, it didn't stick... it rarely does. Then again, it really only snows 2-3 times a year anyway. I don't think it's snowed this early since I moved here though!
