I found what I consider a great deal and wanted to share it with others... FF & I are probably getting married outdoors at a park, under a pavillion, in the summer. I envisioned two large plants and/or topiary-type trees at the front of the ceremony - one on each side - instead of an arch. When looking at the prices locally for this type of thing I was looking at WELL OVER $100 for TWO plants. Yesterday, FF & I were in Big Lots looking at Christmas items and they had a boxed set of two BEAUTIFUL 4-foot "fancy trees" with white lights on them in heavy, white "urns" - or square flower box bottoms, basically. They are very nice, battery-operated, and were on sale for $20 for the two of them! I was sooo excited!! The box was so heavy I could barely lift it. So... $80 saved just cuz I was thinking ahead and buying now not in May and it didn't have a label that said "wedding" anywhere! :)

Here's a pic I found online (but they are $50 each online) ~ ours have white urns.

Congrats on the find! This does seem to be a great time of year to find decorations for weddings.
