View Full Version : Home Alone.....AAAHHHHH
Well, my parents and neice left yesterday to head back to Michigan, Doug left this morning for his convention in Orlando, (I decided not to go as it would be to hard for my mom to watch 2 extra pooches and I couldn't go a week without pay, seems I used all my vacation time earlier in the year.) I am home alone till Thursday! I have alot that I could do today, we are to get 3-6" of snow today starting at noon. Thank goodness I don't have to go out anywhere today.
I may put the "Sex and the City" movie in the dvd player, I bought it like a month ago but haven't watched it yet.
It is going to be a long week.

I'm home alone a lot due to DH working long hours. Then when He is home He's asleep on the sofa. :bbeek: So i'm still "home alone"
Although He has today and tomorrow off. We go to see Kid Rock in a few hours. And He didn't fancy getting home at 1am then up for work at 4am. So it will make a nice change to do things together. I might drag Him to the shops tomorrow for some Christmas shopping.
Sssshh, He doesn't know yet LOL.
When i'm home i tend to flit around the house cleaning. Or sorting stuff out. The music is always on (And the laptop hehehe) Or i get moments of madness and move furniture around.
You could always have a nice soak in the bath. Put a face pack on. Do your nails. Eat lots of Chocolate and watch DVD's in Your Jarmies. :winktongue:
So far, took a long hot bath :), put a load of dishes in the dish washer, on my second load of laundry, took the "kids" for a walk, and this is before 10:30 am! It's going to be a long day and it has started to snow. :)

Awe I hate being home alone :( I'm not a good home alone person.
Your DH is close to me if he is currently in Orlando right now :) we are about 30 mins or so west of Orlando, and about 30-40 mins northwest of Disney. We got some storms today and now we have a cold front moving in, sorry he isn't getting sunny warm weather from us!

I love having time to myself. I am one of those people who need it though to feel re-energized. I usually spend alot of time thinking about who and what I am doing, and setting goals to achieve better from myself. Prioritize, reorganize and just getting to know me. (Sound like a self-help guru, huh?
At one time, I used to go out and rent a random hotel room just to get that time alone.

I too am totally not used to being alone. I do like it though. But, from parent's house to the dorms to living with friends to living with fh, I have never had my own place. It's kinda weird to not have anyone else coming and going around the house. I feel "safer" with fh home, as silly as that sounds.

Oh gosh, me too! Sometimes I need that couple of days and when I have the house to myself for a little while it's great to just decompress!
