I did some shopping this afternoon with my sister; I got the gift for my niece at Toys R Us ... funny, she was with us, so my sister kept her occupied while I paid and went to the car, then I did the same for her while she got a few things for her too ;)
Then DH and I went shopping and got a few other things on our gift list. We only have a couple more things to get then we will be done :whoohoo:
I wrapped what we got today and put it all under the tree :D
Anyone else started shopping yet; anyone done?

I am not nearly as ahead of the game as you are.
All I have bought so far is a birdhouse in the shape of a lighthouse for DH's mom & some stocking stuffers for the kids.
We donned our protective gear and headed into the crowd of pushy women :icon_barbar: at the L'Oreal warehouse sale today :) I bought mostly Maybeline and L'Oreal products (but there was also Lancome available) at ridiculously low prices. Eye shadow, lipstick, lipgloss, nail polish, hair products & tanning products for about $5 or less. Most of the stuff I got was less than $3.
I have gotten a few things for Chad. I got him a nice pair of Kaenon sunglasses, a Ben Sherman shirt, and a book from work. I still plan on getting him a few other things. I've gotten my mother in law and both sisters in law earrings. I still need to get something for my dad, father in law, and two brothers in law. I may get something small for two or three friends too. Sooo I would say that I'm about halfway done with my shopping.

I am basically done, We are finished for: each other, my parents, my sister, a friend who was my maid of honor and another friend who was a bridesmaid, and my aunt's family.
We still have to finish his parents, but we can't do that until we get into their town for Christmas because we are getting them a Gift Card for dinner and a movie. Then we need to buy for Matt's brother. Other than that everything is wrapped and under the tree :)
Oh- I forgot, Matt and I haven't bought any stocking stuff yet.

DH has His second Christmas pressie tonight. I got tickets to see Kid Rock in London.
DH's first pressie was to see Airbourne last Monday.
I did make a start on some Thomas The Tank Engine stuff for Our Grandson. And a few stocking fillers for the Girls. I've still got some stuff from last Christmas so i've added to it. Christmas / New Year with the Kids last year never happened because We were meant to go to Belfast with Our Friends Band. But it was cancelled a couple of days before.
Other than that i haven't really thought about Christmas. The Eldest phoned Me just now asking what i wanted. But i'm so hard to buy for. We did manage to sort out something for DH from the Girls and something from Grandson for Him.
Our Tree doesn't go up until just before Christmas. The Deccys are still in the attic. I think it was Christmas Eve when i put it up last year. :bbeek:
I have 1/2 of my shopping done already. Though, I have to get 2 gift cards for my brother and my niece and to finish his side of the family, so far I think we are doing good on getting the gifts, hopefully we can finish his side next weekend when he is home so we can ship it to Buffalo. Though I am not sure what I am going to get Doug yet.

I am already done, wrapped, and under the tree. I didn't get my dad anything yet because he told me not to get him anything and wouldn't give me any ideas, but it'll probably end up being a gift card. But I'm totally done for my mom's birthday and Christmas, my brother, and FH. I'm making a handmade project for FH and I'm about a third done with it, too.

We haven't started, and we probably won't until a couple days before we open presents... we're procrastinators like that.

We are cutting way down on gifts this year. We always do a name exchange on my side of the family (everyone buys a $20-30 gift for the person they draw), but most of the time everyone ends up buying every person a gift/give money. This year, we are just doing the name exchange (which we are doing tonight since my family came down for Thanksgiving) and I will be buying one small gift each for my family that lives down here and FH for Christmas day.

I haven't done any shopping yet. I want to wait until DH gets his xmas bonus (around the 20th I think) because I'd rather not take money out of our savings or checking right now.
DH was out shopping this weekend, though. And he's very sneaky.....he puts his purchases on his credit card until the bonus comes in so I can't see what stores he has been to...lol :chimp:

I'm virtually done with my Christmas shopping. One present ( a six pack of a micro beer) obviously can't be bought until just ahead of time, and the other one (for my mom) I saw at Marshalls this fall and I still hope they have it!!! If they don't I'm really going to be up a creek . . .
Other than that my Christmas shopping is DONE. I haven't got a lot of money and because I freelance for my work I don't have a regular paycheck -- so I shop throughout the year! Whenever there are sales, or I see something nice, etc. It's easier on my budget to buy presents when I see them. $40 a month works better for me than $300 in December, which is usually a slow time and a tight budget for me anyway.
And I like that when it comes time, all I have to do is wrap them :)

I managed to buy DH a Kid Rock T-shirt while He was standing at the bar. :winktongue:
I jumped the queue like a woman possessed. Demanded the T-shirt and threw the £20 at the Lady. Then i shoved it down My Jacket, ran to the toilets to put it on under My Jumper before DH turned round.
Then came back as if nothing had happened.
On the way home He mentioned the T-shirt and wished He had bought one when He had the chance. I carried on driving and changed the subject. Hehehe.

Well, mine was pretty much shot. >.< But instead friends are getting either banana muffins or gingerbread cupcakes.... We still have to shop for our parents and grandparents.. Even if its something small. I can't imagine not doing something for them with all they have done for us.
I do have my sister and her hubby done. Got that done right before Steve's job got AXed. Heh.
Steves is going to be a little tricky. If i get him what i want to, i'll have to order it online.. Which means i have to figure out where i am sending it.. =/ I hope i have enough (with enough time!!) to order it! lol

Oh, that makes me laugh! Every once in a while somebody will run up to the counter trying to by something for somebody before they see. I try to hurry up, but I just get all clumsy!

I haven't really even started Christmas shopping yet. I'm usually pretty much done by now, but have been paying a car & truck note and two insurance notes for the past 4 mths so now that I've sold the truck I can finally start working on Christmas.
Last week I bought FFIL a portion of a gift (we, FH & I, usually go together and get his Mom & Dad some things) his dad is a rather large man & he loves his Alabama Football, so when I saw a Crimson Tide T-shirt(one that I knonw he doesn't have) & in his size 3X, I got it. I've also gotten FH a Axe Cologne, Shower Gel & Shampoo set.
I got to get busy!

I hadn't bought anything before today, but I needed to get a gift for my best friend so I can mail it to her before I leave to go to the east coast for the holidays - and I leave next weekend!
She's my MOH and she's pregnant, so I knew I wanted to get her some stuff that is nice and baby oriented but not specifically FOR the baby. So I got her a really cool black sweater that can cover the belly but is nice enough that it doesn't necessarily have to be maternity, this really cool baby bag that is metallic so it's sort of trendy, and this belly oil stuff that is supposed to be good for your skin, prevent stretch marks, etc.
Hopefully she'll like it!
I also bought FH's gift last night and some holiday ornaments for FH's family.
Everything else I'll buy when I go to the east coast - my little bro and I always shop together. :)

I've started, almost done. I want to get something else for Chris, but I don't know what. We spent a lot last year on people, and are cutting back this year. I've actually done most of the shopping myself, but I just keep finding things to get people! I love getting stuff for other people.
The only thing I've got for Chris is some Steelers magnets. And I've been letting him get things off eBay for his Camaro too...that should count. Hehe.

Yeah my Christmas shopping doesn't get done until the very last minute. I've recently discovered the joy of giving gift cards because I realize that unless someone has a really obvious hobbie or specifically tells you what they what, it can be really hard to buy a gift. I do know that FH will NOT be getting something harley this year. I think I'm going to try and do harley stuff every other year; other wise, I'll end up even more overrun by it than I already am.

I am totally done this past weekend. We went to the outlet which was empty to my surprise. I finish all my chocolate gift baskets for co-workers, yes I make them myself. I made 5 baskets and spent around $75, most on chocolate candy ($50). Wrapped all gifts and he even took his family's gifts over to them to put under the tree since we wont be there for xmas.
