so did anyone brave it today??? i went, havent slept in about 40 hours, about to hit the sack here..

just was gonna share some great deasl i got--

2$ dvds at walmart.. got about 15 of them, they were good ones too.. spider man one and two. the omen pakcage set, wedding crashers, Remember the titans etc.. they said it was a door buster, but it wasnt.. i got them when i went back for something else to walmart tonight.


kitchen mixer, forget which brand, pretty decent one.. at target, usually i think 60.00----was 25.00- my parents got that for us.

a pretty crystal pill box for my grandma's medicine- was originally 34.00- got it for 9.00

rhinestone rings for my unity candles.. i wish i could explain how it is, ill just have to post pictures.


a bunch of other stuff, but for now, thats it.. nighhhty

I love Black Friday and I got some decent deals.

In Michael's I got thank you cards for the wedding for $0.75 for a pack of 8. I also got placecard holders that look like tiny Christmas balls - 2 in a pack for $0.75. I am not putting one at each person's spot but rather I'm using them just for the bridal party and as the holders for the table number cards. I also got a tossing bouquet that has dark red roses and pearls in it. I'm not using it as the tossing bouquet but instead I am chopping down the stem and using it as part of my cake topper. Michael's was crazy! We got there at 6:30 AM and the registers weren't working. They had to put everyone's stuff in bags with their name & phone number on it and I had to go back for it later. But they still honored my coupon.

In AC Moore I got large candles in a glass jar - 5 for $10. I am giving them as gifts to my aunts and cousin who are decorating my reception. And I got a black scrapbook with white snowflakes for $2.50.

At Bath & Body Works I had a coupon to get one item free (up to a $13 value) if I spent $10. I got 2 vanilla body cremes that I am giving to my greeter and my pianist (I didn't hire a pianist - my friend is doing it - and yes I am giving her more than just lotion! LOL).

And I only bought one Christmas present. We're not really giving Christmas presents this year due to the fact that my wedding is 2 days after Christmas but I needed to buy something for the 2 kids that I work with. My one client is 4 years old and she is the most adorable girl ever. And she loves Sleeping Beauty so I found a cute little playset for her that I saved $3.00 on. I know she'll love it.

At Rite Aid I got candy canes for the wedding - buy one get one free.

At CVS I bought holiday M & M's for my candy buffet - $1.50 a bag.

It was a good wedding day for me!

I refuse to shop when there are that many people. (I don't even like to shop when there's few people) so I shop from the computer as much as I can ;) I found some great deals at Victoria's Secret, and Bath & Body Works AND both had free shipping! :) I got $60.00 flannel PJ's and $25.00 slippers for $29.00. (That includes shipping and tax) I can't wait till they get here! Sounds like you ladies got some great deals (especially the kitchen mixer, I know they can get pricy) :)

Congrats on the deals. We don't have anything like that in Canada but last year FH and I went over for the Saturday after Black Friday and still got amazing deals.

This year because our dollar isn't doing so well right now and because I have an exam on Tuesday, we couldn't go. However, I noticed that a lot of CDN companies were having sales too - maybe to keep the shoppers in Canada? Like Michaels was having huge sales (although I never got to go), Futureshop and The Brick were too!

I always have to work, but I did send money with my cousin to buy a laptop from Best Buy. He along with 5 other guys camped out. They got there at 10:30 Thursday night, but they were like 60 people back already!! They got the last vouchers for the computers...that's crazy. I'm so glad they got it though! I love it and I needed a new one sooo bad!

We got in line at Best Buy for 9pm on Thursday night and stayed in line for 8 hours until the store opened. Funny thing though...When we got there we were around the side of the building!!!!!

But I got a new laptop with a printer and virus software for 599.99

We also went to Michael's and I got Cricut Cartridges on sale for 29.99 usually 89.99!!!

Then Sears and got a Christmas Tree for 149.00 usually 299.99

Then I got TONS of clothes at Children's Place for my godson and only spent 70 bucks!

We go shopping on Black Friday every year! It has become a tradition for my mom, my sis, my grams, and me. We meet up at 3:30 am and head out!
We always go to a mall in the area and do most of our shopping there! We got some great deals and I only have to get my grams and finish my dad, otherwise everyone else is done =)
I also had FH up at 3:30 in the morning to go over to walmart. He wanted to get his daughter a trampoline for xmas this year and they had them for $140 with the safety top and all. SOOO he went there at 3:30 and they only had six! He got the 5th one =)
