I particularly like Josh Groban, Faith Hill, Harry Connick Jr. & Amy Grant's holiday contributions! I think I know at least one lady who will be shopping for their holiday CD's. (I have to get at least one new holiday music CD every year!)

When it comes to Christmas music, I am so traditional .... the more choir and orchestra the better.

I like that kind of Christmas music, too. It's purty.

It also makes me think back to high school when our band (and the choir) made a Christmas CD. We had a song or two with the choir, and it was really cool.

What's really funny is that when I hear some of the songs we played in high school, I can still "hear" the bass line in the background of the song (I played bass clarinet). That statement might only make sense to someone who played that type of instrument....hehe.

Give me Trans-Siberian Ochrestra or Manheim Steamroller and I'm happy.

I don't know if it's traditional but my daughter learned a song in kindergarten, that has stuck with me all these years - 8 little candles. 20 - 30 - 5 years olds, sound adorable singing it!

The Bare Naked Ladies Holiday CD includes some Jewish songs and and one of them on your list.
