Which designer did you dress your bridesmaids in? [Archive]

I'm asking because one of my bridesmaids lives in Florida so I think I have to go with David's Bridal. But what I'd really like to dress my girls in is Bill Levkoff.

I'm going with David's Bridal, but that's because everyone agreed on a dress that was there.

I don't think you have to go with David's Bridal if you want another designer. If you go to the designer's website, there's probably a store locator that would tell you if it's available near your friend.

Our bm dresses are the Dessy After 6 collection. We also looked a lot at dresses from Watters & Watters though (they have a lot of cute looks!)

We used Bill Levkoff, and two of my BM have worn Bill Levkoff dresses in other weddings, too.

Alfred Angelo! They're pretty, classic, CHEAP ($108 not including shipping) and come in a wide variety of sizes including petite, which is nice.

And they compliment my dress very nicely!

Whitewater (and they are dresses my 'maids would say they would wear again, to a formal function)

I went with David's Bridal since everyone is all over the country. I am not wild about the dress I ended up picking up its affordable, not to ugly, and meets most of my sisters specifications for what she will wear.

i picked eden and my girls even in another state were able to get the dress.
I live in florida, we have plenty of bridal stores here.. actually TOO many :) she will find the SAME dress!

Well, each of my girls chose a different dress, but my favorite of the three had hers made by Ann Taylor.

There are also a lot of places that you can order bridesmaid dresses online from all sorts of different designers. She could always go to a bridal store to get measured and then order the dress online and have it shipped right to her door. :D

My girls will likely be in Da Vinci since that is who made my dress and I have a coloured sash that way the colors will all match plus Da Vinci had the fuchsia colour that was what we liked.
