So now that I've decided on tea length dresses for the bridesmaids rather than short or long dresses, I found a few at David's Bridal that I like. Which do you like best?
Option 1 (http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridesmaids_detail.jsp?stid=1353&prodgroup=110&sid=8346)
Option 2 (http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridesmaids_detail.jsp?stid=1674&prodgroup=110&sid=8035)
Option 3 (http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridesmaids_detail.jsp?stid=2320&prodgroup=110&sid=19205)

Here is my ranking from a guy's point of view

First Place: Option 1
Second Place: Option 3
Third Place: Option 2

When is the wedding taking place? I am asking since I guess my ranking is assuming it will be warmer and towards summer.

My wedding will be May 31st

I like the 3rd option best and think it is probably also the most universally flattering with the halter, a higher waistline, and a skirt that flows away more.

#3, then #2, then #1.

But they're all really similar!! Have you thought about possibly asking your bridesmaids for their opinions? The first one would look great on petite girls, the second would flatter bigger girls, and the third would flatter larger chested girls. Depending on what your girls look like your best bet could be any one of them!

Then for me Option#1 is a clear winner. It will be sunny (hopefully) and warm enough. I like the colors and the shoulder free top. Classy, elegant, and sexy!

Why not ask the bridesmaids which one they like? Have them vote on it? Or is this not common practice?

I remember my sister being quite unhappy once about the dress she had to wear as a bridesmaid.

Oh, I was planning on asking the bridesmaids. I just wanted to get a feel for each dress's popularity.

my favorite is one.. seems the most flattering for most girls.. the 3rd is sort of like a "mermaid" bottom and a hippy girl will nt look good in that.

I like #3 the best. Then #1.

Have you thought of having them pick whatever style they like best for themselves and just have them in the same color?

I'm going to say either #1 or #2 and that is simply because they look the same to me except the straps. I'm not a huge fan of halter styles - they can make girls look smaller chested or if they are bigger chested they it can come across as being tight and having the girls confined...lol

#1 for sure.... then 2... do not like 3 at all...

I'd say 3, but giving the girls a vote seems like a fair thing. =)

I rank them as follows: #3, #2, #1 (I don't really like #1 much at all, actually)

As a bustier girl, I like 3, then 1, then 2. Empire waists make top-heavy girls like me look pregnant. :bbeek:

Have you thought about letting each girl choose a different dress in that color and length so they can choose the most flattering options?

Actually, strapless are only flattering on a select few body types. And that dress has a slightly shiny material, which makes someone wearing it look larger. It may flatter the model, but overall would not be a flattering dress.

I say option 2 and 3 would be more flattering on a number of different body types. Whereas option 1 would only look good on a few body types.

My personal favorite is #2 - i think strapless dresses can be flattering, but have a tendency to slide because they rarely fit PERFECTLY, and having girls tugging on them can be quite distracting. I agree that halters can be very flattering on some body types and very UNflattering on others. It's also possible that you can like something in a photo and then try it on and find out it looks awful. I would definitely have them try the dresses on before they give you a final opinion!

I would want to wear these in this order: 3, 2 then 1.
