Anyone ever gotten a photo book from Snapfish; are they nice?

I am trying to put together an album for my FIL and his new wife of their wedding pictures (not pro) for Christmas. Her daughter sent me some pics she had on Snapfish and they advertise a bunch of albums on there.

So now I can't decide if I should try to do one of these or if I should try to get something more professional looking and assemble it myself.

Actually that is where I got our wedding album of non pro pics (I think) and it turned out very nice!! I was quite impressed. I will order again.

I haven't gotten an actual "book" from them, but I frequently order pics from their website and have them mailed to me. The pics all look great! You can choose the sizes, borders, and finish (matte, gloss)

From what I've read online, people seem to like prints from snapfish and photo books from shutterfly. I am currently trying to put together one on shutterfly of FH and I just for fun. I think a photo book sounds like a great christmas gift.

So I ended up ordering the little album from Snapfish and it turned out pretty nice. I just hope the inlaws like it!

Brandi, that's good to know. I can't tell from Snapfish's site if the pages are "actual" photographic prints on photopaper, or "press printed." How is the color/contrast of the pictures? I'm only asking because I've seen a lot of variation in quality among press printed books. Thanks!

I have no idea how the pictures are printed on the page, but they look like part of the page.

Considering the digital images we had to work with where not all that great to begin with I think they turned out really nice ... especially for like $30!
