I apologize for posting my reception nightmare on this forum. I though my nightmare was what was meant from nightmare, especially since it was. I was wrong, and should not have posted here. So where is my posting?

I can still see it. Nobody took your post away, at least, not as of a few minutes ago.
A word of advice from somebody who's had to deal with poor vendors before (not in a wedding context, but it's kind of part of my job) . . . you'll have a lot better luck complaining directly to the head of the company or filing with the Better Business Bureau than to post here. If you feel that strongly and you only got 25% back (that's the correct number, right? I don't remember the details), you may also want to consider filing a claim in small claims court, though that might not go as well as you want, because it might be very difficult to prove your damages.
The people here live in all 50 states and across the world. I appreciate that you want to share your experience, but you are correct that this isn't the venue to warn others. Share your bad reception, by all means (after all, this is the 'vent' part of the forum!) but you may want to consider complaining in a more efficient manner if you want to see any more results.
I'm sorry you had such a bad experience with your caterers. Sometimes things don't always go as planned, and we can either stand by helplessly and watch things slide downhill, or we can take control back and stop the slide, and try to salvage what we can.
I hope your marriage is as pleasant and fulfilling as your reception was heart-breaking. At the end of the day, at least you still have your relationship, right? So all was not lost.

I did contact them, but they are not contacting me back to correct their actions. I have already contact the BBB, and have filed a complaint. My simple goal is to make sure no one else undergoes what I have, though BBQ is not what most people plan for their reception.

Well, BBQ may not be what 'most' plan, but we've had more than a few do that very thing here on Onewed. I myself am planning a potluck buffet -- because I don't want to deal with caterers! If it makes you feel better, you might want to check out the blog called The Food Whore, because there you will read stories that prove that you're not alone!
When did you get married? Would you like to share some pictures in the other parts of the forum?
I'm the first to admit that I'm nosey like that :) Maybe curious would be a better word!

Potluck is what I wanted to go with, but HIS mother wanted something more professional. He's Indian, and in his culture, they are very caste oriented, and she's considered upper class there. Oddly, He is a biker, but let allowed his mom to get this one wish to get her off his back. Here are some cool pictures.

We have countless individuals come onto OneWed who want nothing more than to bad mouth a particular company. They will make one nasty post and then never post again so they are seen as spammers. This can make for a very negative forum so we appreciate it if posters join this wonderful wedding community to share all aspects of their wedding - both positive and negative, tips, advice, DIY ideas, etc.
Thank you for sharing some of your wedding pictures! I love Indian weddings and all of the vivid colors. If you would like to post some more of your wedding pictures you can go here and create a thread - http://forums.onewed.com/forumdisplay.php?f=20.
If you have any other questions about the board, you can email forum support - forumsupport@onewed.com
