So what are you wearing to your holiday work party?

My dress, Josh & Jazz 27X4344 (http://www.bestbridalprices.com/josh-and-jazz-prom-dresses-style-27x4344-p-30059.html?cPath=6_913) in black, which I have to say looks better on me than the model, if I do say so myself...

I'll post some pics of me and FH all dressed up after the party on Sunday.

So yeah... what are you wearing?

The only holiday party I have is one a friend is throwing. I do have this fabulous red sparkly dress that I've never worn (have actually wanted to sell):

But I doubt I'll end up wearing this there.

I wore these to past holiday parties:

I've actually reworn this particular ensemble as many times as I could get away with, but alas, I cannot wear it to another holiday party until I get a new job, new family, new in-laws, and new friends, LOL. I'm banking on a new job being my next excuse.

I'm sad DH didn't get a better shot of this one... the beading on the top is really pretty! I wore it over slacks and the shoes pictured below:

Last year, I wore this, which DH insisted I wear for my e-pics...

This year, I'm not sure what to wear. I've been driving DH mad by modeling a bunch of stuff in my closet that I've only worn once or twice and asking for opinions! Maybe I'll buy something new... :purplex:

I don't know of any holiday parties that I will be attending. If I do go to one, I have no idea what I will wear!

To the ladies that aren't invited to any holiday parties - what say we have a pre-ball cinderella party? LOL

Come on over to my place in sweats and I'll make the drinks. We can dance on the back deck and the pool if the ice is thick enough

Well, I was going to go to FH's company Christmas party this year because I missed last year... then we learned that it's the same day as my graduation! So, no holiday parties for me.

Doug's holiday party is tomorrow downtown Chicago. I will be wearing grey pants and a white sweater....all I know is it will be COLD when we take the train and cab....so I will not be wearing a skirt.

I have a black cocktail dress I'm wearing this weekend to our party. I bought it a couple years ago and have only worn it once. I'm going to have some fun with it and wear my grey converse, and I'm buying a grey shawl soon. I only had black accessories (shoes, purse, sweater), and I wanted to do something less non-chromatic. I was thinking sparkly silver shoes and a new purse, but that could have been expensive! The converse are fun too.

that sounds like my kinda party! Dancing! I love dancing! too bad we dont go to enough places that have it.
I know I already posted in this thread but we just recently found out that Fh parents are gonna go back to doing kareoke for a club we used to all go to. So we might drive up there this New Years, (hour there & back :whyme:) but there will be DANCING so I think I deal with the bit of a drive in that case:)

For my work, we go out to lunch a few days before Christmas, so whatever I wear to work is what I'm going in.

FH's company is having their Christmas party mid-January sometime. Last year I just wore a pair of slacks and a sweater, but this year, I'm thinking either a skirt and cute top with boots or a sweater dress with boots. I really want to wear boots, if you can't tell :)

I wore a gray sweater dress from Banana Republic and my favorite black leather peep toe heels. Bought the dress like an hour before the party (and was late) because I am so unprepared like that.

I am going to wear the heck out of that thing. It's my new official "dress up in the wintertime" outfit.
