I'm so excited because I just found out that our apartment office is giving all units a free 10x13 portrait on December 1st. So, hubby and I are going to dress up and get our portrait done. I'd like to color-coordinate with him. I'm thinking I'll have him wear either his suede-silk crimson or black collared-shirt with a nice pair of jeans and I'll wear my crimson or black-collared shirt with jeans. Does that sound silly? I don't think we should wear the same colored shirt; that's cheesy to me. I really like black and crimson. Any thoughts? Is anyone else having a portrait done anytime soon? Haven't done this in years! I'm so happy!

DH and Myself had Ours done a week after Our Wedding. They should be ready for collection soon. (Waiting for pay day)

We both wore Jeans. He had a Grey T-shirt on and i wore a Black and Dark Red top. Not that it really mattered much. Because We went for Sepia Photos in the end.
We ordered Three Pictures in a frame. One of Me, One of DH and One of the Two of us together.

It was a lot of fun to do. :)

In the New Year i want to get another one of us together. The Photographer took some great shots. And they are available at any time. Although they are very expensive.

I'm thinking of going back for another Photo shoot in January to celebrate My 40th. As long as they can air-brush Me to within an inch of My life. And make Me look 30 again

Cool; can't wait to see the pic :)

I like the coordinating thing in pictures, otherwise it is distracting to me.

I agree! I think red and black look good together!

It's so exciting that you can get a free portait! Tell us how it goes! :D

Yeah, it is exciting! Speaking of other free stuff, my friend gave me tickets to Eileen Ivers, An Nollaig - An Irish Christmas. She's the violinist from Riverdance. I love getting free things, especially nice free things! :) I feel so lucky!

Coordinating is nice. Matchy matchy is kinda creepy.

The hard part of getting a "free" photo is they usually limit it to only one background choice and you will like the one they take with the "other" background. They will also charge you an absolute fortune for any additionals that you want.
