What is on top of your holiday tree?

So we use a star on top of our tree. We had a pretty plain one up until last year when we bought a cooler looking one; this one is more of a crystal starburst I guess.

EDIT: My sister puts a big bow with long hanging ribbons on top of her tree. My mom has used a star and an angel in past years and this year she has a snowman couple up there.

We have a Red Spike on the top of Our tree. Some years We change it to a Gold one. Or a Red and Green one. Our tree has Red, Gold and Green Baubles on. One Crystal Star in Memory of My Dad. And a little Blue sock for Our Grandson

I don't have a pic of the Spike on the tree. So i had to Google something similar so You can get an idea on what i'm on about. :huh:

I use a golden retriever stuffed animal for our tree topper..I don't know if i have a picture, in a few weeks we will have our tree up and then I will post.

Mine is a big gold bow that totally matches with my red and gold theme for my tree. But I bought all the ornaments for the tree before I met FH and he doesn't like my tree. So next year (this year we are strapped for money because of the wedding) we will probably buy all new ornaments. And I know for a fact the thing FH hates most is the bow on top of the tree. He thinks it is "girly". I'd really like a snowflake or a star for the top. He'd probably want some kind of football tree topper! LOL

I have a silver star and a gold bow...still trying to decide which to use! We're getting our tree next Sat or Sun, so I have a few days to make up my mind.

Since I can remember my family has had an angel that perches on top of the tree. She has a little hole in her hand where you poke a light from the tree through so it looks like she is holding a candle. I'm not sure if we'll use that for our own tree or adopt a new topper. If we do get a new one it will most likely be an angel or a star.

I have a tree. It's one of those decorative one's that your supposed to group on a table. It looks like dark twigs wrapped around with sparkley "crystals" on it. My ornaments are all silver, green and blue, with white LED lights.
