Hello everyone! I thought I would start a wedding journal, especially since I have only 5 1/2 more months! :petrified:
How we met:
We met the first day of 9th grade (Sept 2000). It was Mr. Larkins wellness class. Chris use to fall asleep in class all the time! I was more of "goodie-goodie" when it came to school. Opposites! We became good friends that year, and stayed so throughout the years. He finally asked me out in our senior year on 03/12/04. Took him long enough! Im glad though. I truly believe it happened when it was meant to happen. We didnt have to deal with summer breaks and the whole high school drama. Plus, it was just in time for senior prom. We had a blast! Our group came back to my house and Chris was asleep within 10 mins! LOL. Hes such a party animal :tongue:
The Proposal:
Chris proposed on 01/07/08. When we first started dating he use to take me to the airport to watch the planes take off and land (I love to fly). Well on this night he took me there and after a little while he stated to tell me how he was always going to be there for me and all that good stuff. He said he would like to take care of me as my husband if I would say yes and he slipped the ring on my finger. I started crying. It was awesome.
The date:
Well we originally chose 11/08/08. We had been trying to start our family and didnt really want to put that off. And what do you know, thats when God decided to bless us. We found out the due date is 12/28/08. That means I would have been a day shy of 33 weeks. So the date has been pushed off to 05/09/09.
Can you tell I chose dates that are simple to remember!! That was all me. FH thinks its funny that I did that. He loves to make fun of me, since traditionally you hear about the guy being the one that wont remember the date. Nope that will be me! I know I wont forget... I just might have to think for a second! :rofl:
Our bundle of joy:
I am due on 12/28/08 with our first little girl: Madelyn "Maddie". We both are so excited! As of today I am 34 weeks and 5 days... that means only 5 weeks and 2 days to go!! :whoohoo:
