Snowy view from my office!

So the snow already made its debut here right before Halloween and maybe a week ago we officially hit the snowy winter season. Not much on the ground at the moment, but here's what going on right now as I sit at my desk:

It was so cold here this morning - 20. brrr
No snow here yet - actually the sun is out (sorry) I hear it's headed my way though. Entirely too early for snow.

ooo Its so pretty! We dont get much snow here either (lower alabama) I think the last time it did snow it was just flurries. On Christmas morning no less:) it was funny at first we thought it was embers coming from the chimney, (we had a fire going but when we walked outside we realized they were falling all over not jsut near the house! We were jsut tickled to be able to say it snowed on Christmas morning:)

but thats so pretty! right now its just super cold(well to us Southerns')here, the high is 50's with a windchill of 40 something.

We had a bit of sleet earlier. But nothing to write home about. They forecast snow for tomorrow. Poor DH will be working out in it. That's if it hits.

We had one day of snow last year. It snowed overnight. And by evening it was gone again. :bbeek:

I managed to get a photo of it before it melted. It's not really that thick. It's the lawn that needed mowing. :rofl:

We had some a week or so ago but it wasn't enough that we needed to break out the shovel and it's gone now. It's really strange not to have snow on the ground here, towards the end of November. :snide:

I am not a fan. We had our first snowfall last night. In North Carolina. in the SOUTH. I find this to be tragic. :irked:

Pretty! That looked like heavy snowfall, though the picture might make it look like more than it is. We also haven't had any that's stuck around yet, though it has snowed a few times.

I'm now thinking about posting my lovely winter pictures I took from our apartment balcony last year..

We've gotten a few more inches since then and it's still going strong! We're supposed to get about 10 inches of lake effect snow by the end of tomorrow.

OMG - It was snowing like that here last week! I couldn't believe it! We had a really cold morning here too. Wind chills hit 0 and the temp was about 10 or so! Ready or not, here comes winter! Although, I love cold and snowy holidays!!
