Anyone else have Kaiser insurance?

I like it for the most part, but man their customer service stinks! I always seem to get the run around there. And they supposedly keep winning awards in customer service

My most recent experiece is that I was trying to fax the Dr a form; one person tells me to fax it to one place and I did. A couple of days later I call to check on it and they can't find it and tell me I should have faxed it somewhere else :ooh:

So I fax it to this place; that was this past Thursday. Today I called to check on it and they say they need a release from me. OK fine, when was someone going to let me know this?! They say they were going to send a letter; why they couldn't just call I have no idea!

The lady faxes me the release and I fax it back to the number it came from; she didn't tell me otherwise. A few minutes later I call to check on it and they don't have it; they said the number I faxed it to is not in that office :urgh:

So I fax it again and ask if someone could call me to let me know they got it; well they don't do that ... so I say fine, I will call back. They the lady tells me they can't verify receipt until it gets entered in the system ... WHAT?! They can't even tell me if they get the freakin fax or not ... what does it take for someone to go check?!

OMG I am so upset right now :realmad: This shouldn't be taking this long and it is something I need to get taken care of asap.

UGH; I have a call into customer service now and I am going to complain and see where that gets me.

Unfortunately, I went that route with financial aid for both Matt and myself. However, I do have Kaiser and so far I love it. I haven't had to fax anything, fortunately, but I'm familiar with the faxing system being electronic and Customer Service doesn't have any way of varifying it. I'm going through the same sh** with the water company.

I'm sorry you have to go through all this, it is a pain in the butt for sure!

Ugh, customer service is very rarely a service at all! So frustrating. It seems like all insurance companies of any type have cruddy service. Hope you get it all taken care of today!

Ugh; after several messages left with no return I finally got a hold of someone today. They sent in the form I needed, but couldn't get it faxed to me, don't know if it was my fax machine or not.

So I had to go up there and get a copy; come to find out the form was not only incomplete, but incorrect too! So I had to sit there for over an hour and complain and cry until I finally got someone to listen to me and get it straightened out.

Now I have a headache again.

Yeah, Kaiser is an HMO; sometimes it is good, other times not so much.
