View Full Version : I have so much to do...
...and don't feel like doing it!
I am trying to get ready for when my parents come out here with my neice for Thanksgiving....
Doug has to trim up Summit so i can give her a bath.
I need to start/finish the fleece blankets that I am making for my neices, get gift cards for them for Christmas.
Clean the house, dust, steam clean the carpets (only after Summit's bath)
When they are out here, we are going to help the economy and hit the great sales on Black Friday. :) So I can finish my Christmas shopping so they can take it back to Michigan (won't be going anywhere for Christmas this year. :) )
Finish Doug's holiday shopping so we can get that shipped out.
...and i am on the computer and a nap sounds REALLY good right now. :winktongue:
Every year I say that this holiday season is going to be more laid back than the last, but it never happens. I hope that you can get all of your stuff done and then are able to relax and enjoy the season. I hope that we all can!

I feel your pain and I can empathize. I always have too many things on my plate and I am personally responsible for adding 99% of it.

Pun not intended
I always have a Hundred and One things to do. DH came home from work yesterday and found the furniture between the Two Bedrooms moved around. :bbeek: Three Units completely in different rooms.
I moved the Lounge around the other week. He said Thank Gawd the Kitchen Units are fitted. Or else He might come home and find the Kitchen in the Lounge and the Lounge in the Garden hehehe.
Today i plan to just wash up the dishes and hoover the carpets. Sit here and surf eBay. Maybe take a walk to the shop. Then watch rubbish daytime TV.
There's a rumour that this is what You're meant to do on a day off. So i thought i'd give it a try

LOL I am likely to do that too! DH never knows what he will come home to. Once I make up my mind ... it's just got to get done :)
Let's just say the nap won yesterday.... :)

IMHO that's always the best way to go :) This way, you can wake up refreshed and get on with doing whatever needs to be done.

*hehe* I agree with Elizabeth; sometimes a nap is the best way to get things going ;)
