When you registered (or for those who have not done so yet, when you do register) what style of registry did you look for (or are you looking for)

1. A full service registry: you are there for a few hours, they sit with you and talk about products, they offer you drinks and food while registering, they DO NOT walk around the store with you, they DO check on you occasionally, they make recommendations when they see you compairing products/ brands, they make sure you have everything on your registry that you wanted, and review it with you after you are done, you do get a free gift with your registry when you are ready to leave the store after reveiwing your registry with an associate, you have access to your registry online and can edit as you wish.

2. A medium service registry: You are in the store for maybe an hour tops, the associates hardly notice you, you can ask questions about the registry by using a phone on the side of the kiosk where you pick up your scanner, they DO NOT walk around with you, they DO NOT check your registry after you are finished, you are not offered anything to drink or eat while you are there, you are supposed to receive a free gift with your registry, if you know about it and that you need to ask a sales associate about it, but if you do not know you are supposed to get the free gift there is no notice stating so, you do have access to your registry online and can edit it as you wish.

3. Online registry only: You do not visit a store, you sit in front of your computer, you CAN NOT touch or feel any of the products, you are offered nothing from the store (as in a free gift), but you do have access to your registry online and can edit it as you wish.

This goes along with my first post about what are you looking for in a place when registering.
Thanks for your opinions

When I got married in 1995, there wasn't any online registries, but I sure would have used them if they were available. We went with a full registry at Dillards....it was very nice.
