I'm Married!!!!! Yippee!!!!! and i love it.
I'm not going to say the wedding went off without a hitch because it didn't. but it was wonderfully relaxed and romantic. sunday morning i was a nervous wreck all morning trying to get the food ready. By afternoon my FH (at the time) was nervous and i was fine. We reversed during the day. We got to the church at the scheduled time and it looked great. The church had surprised us and bought us different flowers for the altar. This was so sweet of them. They also bought flowers for the reception tables as well. Our budget didn't provide a lot of flowers. Only for the main table at the reception. But the ceremony itself was so nice. the kids looked great. We hadn't had much of a chance to rehearse. And i was glad afterall. Everyone said it was the first "real" wedding they have gone to and the kids made it perfect. My step son went down the aisle swinging his pillow and his cast against the pews. It was too funny. My daughter practically ran down the aisle. My step daughter was extremely slow and sure. When they got to the front to light the unity candles my FH had to help them. When my father and I walked down the aisle he was more nervous than I. He got to the front and didn't wait to give me away but went to sit down. The pastor had to call him back up to give me away. Everyone laughed including him. This broke the ice. The guests all became relaxed and so did we. Jerry kept making faces at me to keep me from crying during the ceremony. The reception was great. Everyone thought my weird wedding cake to be unusual and different and loved it. All in all it was a day not to be forgotten. I realized that day that my husband loves me dearly. He tried his darndest to make the day less stressful for me like no one would believe. you will never guess where we went for our honeymoon?
Wal-mart!!!! his parents car battery went out at the wedding and so he gave them ours. So we had to take my car to wal-mart and get us another battery. Typical redneck honeymoon. But it really didn't matter to either of us. while there we also bought a new vacum with the money the guests had given us. they knew ours had torn up and we wanted a new one. so not much of a honey moon. We are having a belated one. I will try to post some pictures later today. I have to resize them first.
I wanted to say ladies no matter how stressed out you might become, it will be the most wonderful day of your life thus far. enjoy it fully and try to relax. No one will notice if something goes wrong, only that you two are happy and in love.
