I wanna go fishin!

So my hubby and I were walkin' around Sports Chalet looking at diving gear and dreaming about when we can afford to get our own gear and go regularly...

And we started looking at swimbaits, lures, fishing rods, and I got to teach him which lures work how and why I'd chose 'this one' over 'that one'. It was so much fun... Makes me want sooo bad to dig out my fishing gear and go fishing. Well, a fishing license costs well over $50 for a year pass... and a weekend license is about half that. So I can't justify spending $20ish on a weekend license, when I can spend $50 for a year.

So I think I'll add "fishing license" to my Christmas list. Hmmmmm gift idea for Matt!! :winktongue:

Jacob and I go fishing all the time!! here in Georgia the fishing license is only $10 plus if you fish a certain kind of fish like trout its like another $5 for the whole year!!

He has like 10 fishing rods I have 2 pink ones lol

He loves fishing!! I only like fishing when I catch something hahaha

I used to have a fishin buddy before I got with Matt. Funny, my fishin buddy's name was Matt too :) But seriously, I used to fish 2-3 times a week! Since my license expired in '06, I haven't been!!

I have 3 rods and tons of tackle.... I gotta dig it all out and go through my plastics - I'm sure some are rotten by now.

See, the one thing that stinks about living in a cold climate is the regular fishing turns to ice fishing and I suck at ice fishing. FH and my dad love it, but I can't stand it. In fact, FH birthday is in a few weeks and I'm buying him a ice shanty.

Anyways, FH just bought a fishing boat this summer, so we went a lot! I have a pink fishing pole too that FH likes better than his! lol! Nothing like spending the afternoon in the boat, I love it!

I finally got into fishing this past summer and I LOVE it. I managed to go the very beginning of October but it was chilly... now I'm stuck until the spring and I want to go so bad. I have a ton of fishing stuff on my Christmas list!

I still can't get over how expensive licenses are in CA. If you are a resident of Wisconsin, a year license is $18.00 (good though March 31st - March 30th of the following year), or $7.00 for a week pass.

Everything's inflated in CA :irked: I went to price out the license down to the dollar this weekend and found out that WalMart does not sell them anymore.. at least the one by our house doesn't. Time to find WHERE I can get one!
