Hi guys,

I bought a plain white veil off ebay and now Im thinking that it might be too plain for my dress so now I want to add embellishments such as rhinestones etc.

Any of you know how I should go about doing this? Such as what size rhinestones and what type of glue I shuold get?

Thanks xxx

I made my own veil from scratch and actually didn't add any rhinestones to it, but it said you can simply use fabric glue and glue them to the tulle. I would buy a piece of tulle at your fabric store and play around with the rhinestones a bit before adding them to your actual veil. I would use smaller sized ones so they stay attached easier...http://www.bridalcrownsandtreasures.com/shop/files/t_16329.jpg

Well, I bought a wire comb, tulle from the fabric store, beads, and edging (which I sewed around the entire veil) I gathered the tulle and sewed it to the comb, then sewed the beads to the comb, then sewed the edging around the veil. It was a little time consuming, but I LOVE IT! :) You can find various instructions online that will help too!

If you are going to pull one of the pieces of tulle over your face as a blusher be sure check that you don't place one of the rhinestones in a place that may look like a booger in front of your face in one of the pictures coming down the aisle! I saw a friend with an ill placed rhinestone on her veil!
