I would like to make some sort of welcome goodie bag for our guests that go to Jamaica with us... now here is my question... what to put in the goodie bag, it cant be too much because I cant ship anything to the resort, meaning i have to bring everything in my bags there. there will be about 25 people total.

Any thoughts would be great!:ooh:

Sunblock, Benadryl cream, Sunglasses, a beach towel, and maybe a beach ball, or one of those floaty mats. Just a few ideas :)

Yup, I like the idea of sunblock, towels, asprin, toothpaste/brushes, razors, maps/brochures of things to do in the area/resort, or a tote to carry things.

Aloe!! I'm rather dark complected, so I forget such a thing is necessary but the one time I was burned, I fell in love with that magical plant.

you may be able to call the hotels or tourism office there and ask them to send you maps, coupons, guides. i know somebody who did this with her orlando dest. wedding and she was able to have some of those things in the basket. i know it would be something i would appreciate.

where did you get your mini sun blocks? I know you can get them just about anywhere, but what I'm wondering is if you got a bulk deal somewhere.

I just got them at Wal-Mart for .99 cents each. We are having only 20 people so there was no need for bulk. Good luck! :)

When I did my bags for Sandals Whitehouse for our wedding I put in them: sunblock, hard candy, underwater cameras, little books I created with the schedule for the week, sun tan lotion, water toys, bug repellent, and i think that migh tbe it.

I'm am also having a destination wedding on block island in RI, next August. I'm thinking about making a bag with all the necessities for the beach. Also, since i am having it on the beach, i'm making handmade seashell chocolates and putting them in a little chest. Just an idea if you are into that sort of thing.
