So DH and I were out at Kohls/Walmart tonight an on our way home we noticed a strange helicopter going in circles around our neighborhood. It had a blue blinking light on it. Matt said he figured it was the police and we just thought it was odd. So we walk into the Academy dorm that we work/live in, and the house parent who is on duty asks if we made sure we locked the door on our way in. We had of course the entrance that we use has dorm parents is suppose to be kept locked each and every time we go in and out.
She said she had gotten a call from an admin here at the Academy telling the house parents to make sure all of the doors are lock. I'm not really sure who they are looking for out there but apparently it is serious lol.
After we got in Matt decided to walk over to one of the guy's dorms to take over a book to someone over there, even though I told him not to. He did take our 6lb Yorkie with him though :) So I guess on his way over the helicopter flew passed and it put the spotlight on him! I'm glad I wasn't with him I would have freaked!
So a few mins ago Matt walked out of our apartment into the dorm hallway so he can take our dog, Wrigley out to go to the bathroom and the house parent that is on duty (when I am not on duty there is a relief dorm parent) and she was like "um I'm not allowed to let you go outside" She said that Mike, an Admin of the school called and said that Matt couldn't go outside again.
I'm not sure if the cops called to comfirm that a young male with a dog outside at the Academy should be there or what, but Matt said he didn't see Mike while he was walking to the other dorm, so it had to have been the helicopter that called or something.
Not sure who they are looking for but I hope they find them soon! Especially because we are just starting to really get Wrigley potty trained and now we can't take him out for who knows how long, maybe even for the rest of the night lol. Plus I'm a little freaked that they are looking for someone! I don't want Matt and Wrigley to go outside now anyways. It's not like we live in a bad neighborhood or anything.:confused: Maybe Matt should have did this: :kap:
