Western wedding...Black/White/Red...PICS

Ok...I spent most of the weekend with hay fever so I couldn't go outside (Eric and his dad were cutting hay and they got 120 acres of it on the ground) so I stayed inside and my FMIL and I got a TON of stuff done...Here are the pics of my flowers and such....

I DELETED THEM, BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD...I think my allergies fogged my vision...

Looks great!! I get the same way when the canola is flowering, I can't go any where near the stuff and if I do, you'd think I was dying with the coughing and sneezing and burning eyes. It's horriable. My DH's dad didn't plant canola close to where we were getting married on the farm just for me! What a sweet FIL I have!! And yet doctors will never acknowledge that I have allergies! A-holes! lol

Thanks Shawna, the bouquets weren't what I had in mind and so I'm going to approach my FMIL with care and re-do them. Wish me luck!

Good luck. An ounce of sugar...just remember!!:) I'm sure it will all be fine. We wanted to do the western theme with boots and wranglers and hats but once I picked out my dress, it quickly nixed that theme! Lol. So I ended up with no theme, except red and white, which you could technically say was a Canadian theme! lol. (this was totally coincidence that it happened that way!!)

I wanted tux's and so did Eric...he and the GM will be in tuxs/black hats and black boots...I have seen the "western wedding dresses" and they aren't what I had in mind...neither are the bouquets with ropes and wildflowers...right now I am so upset over my bouquets, my vision has turned into a nightmare...I was so excited about the first run results but now I hate them. I know that when I tell my FMIL all I want is a bunch of red roses tied together and wrapped in satin she is going to faint!

i'm sure she'll understand when you explain you were under the weather and not thinking clearly! She'll get it!

And I hear ya on those "western wedding dresses." I looked at them, but quickly changed my mind. The only other thing was that I didn't want to force the non country GM to buy wranglers,boots and a black stetson. I couldn't do that to them! lol. I guess it only works if your whole Bridal Party is country! lol

AMEN! Fortunately all the GM are so they already had very nice black hats and boots (thank God, those things are so ex[pensive)!

I think she'll understand, she may be dissapointed but in the end it is what I want that matters...(why do I feel so guilty saying that?) and I will present it in the most respectful southern girl manner I know how!;)
