Well it's about that time when I have to decide on what bridesmaids dresses I want my girls to wear. I'm having a hard time though, so I thought I'd recruit some help! Take a look at these dresses and tell me which one you like the best. The hardest part is making sure they look good with MY dress.

Here's my dress: http://www.privatelabelbyg.ca/userfiles/Image/P64-1324.jpg

I can't decide on a long or short bridesmaids dress. I really like strapless, and I think that it should sort of be similar to my dress (somewhat intricate) but can't decide. The dress will be some shade of purple. What do you think???

I like #2 for Long. And #4 for short. Which probably hasn't helped if You haven't made Your mind up about the length.

The thing about #2 is it has to been worn by slim BM's to look right IMO.
They are all lovely Dresses. My heart goes out to You in deciding.

I really like dress #1. After seeing your dress, I put all the windows of the possible dresses next to your dresses window and 1 looked the best next to it.

Also, since your dress (Which I love, btw. Beautiful; and I'm sure it looks amazing on you!) looks like it's an a-line style having your bridesmaids dresses be full length might clash with your dress. I don't know, IMO I like it when bridesmaids have shorter length dresses unless the brides gown is a ball gown or something with a six foot train. (I don't get how they walk with those things...lol!) I guess I'm weird like that....:/

Good luck!

Lol, that's what I did too... I had like a dozen windows open on my screen just trying to narrow down my choices!

I go back and forth about the length and style. On the one hand, I feel like the BM dresses should be similar to mine (strapless, long, with some detailing) so everything looks like it's on the same page. on the other hand shorter, simpler dresses seem to make my dress pop! That's been my biggest problem with this decision..

Well I talked to my mom, and we went through each dress one by one. By the end, we were both in agreement that we liked #1 and #8 the best. So that's where we are now :-P Later tonight I'll show FH and see what he thinks.

I voted dress 1. I think it's elegant and fits into the "could wear again" category. I WOULD wear that dress again, wedding or not.

All choices are lovely though...:)

I prefer #7. Hate to say it but I don't like #1. That dart/pleat at the front of the skirt, on anyone besides a model sized person, will just make their stomach look bigger. It looks very pouch-ey on that model, I would hate to see it on a heavier person. The back is cute, but the waist in the front just ruins it for me.

I agree. I like number 7 - I like the movement of the dress.

My girls bought Watters dresses!! :)

Well, I'm gonna be different here and say that I like #5 and #8 the best. #1 didn't do it for me at all, I was kind of like, 'wow . . .no . . .' but then I got to #5 and was all happy.

Although I think I'm biased because my two attendants are both wearing strapless floor length A lines with a sash :)

I like #7 the best. I think it would look good on any body shape/size and the flowy fabric compliments the romantic feel of your dress.

I like #5 and #9 the best, but that's just because that's about the style that I am looking for. But they are all pretty.

I love, love, love dress #7 and I think it would look good on a variety of shapes and sizes. I want this dress myself to wear somewhere, anywhere. For a long dress I like #6 the best.

For me, dress 1, 2 or 7 in accordance with your beautiful dress...

Of the two you're trying to choose between, I'd definitely choose 8! It's very pretty and has a lovely drape in the back!

I think I like 7 and 8; if I had to personally wear it I'd go with number 8 cause I don't like strapless ;)

I would say 1 or 7, but It depends on Your BM, you want to pick one that they will all look nice in and be comfortable.

I like 1 and 7...I think I would for sure go short...it would kinda flow better with your dress!

Ok, it won't let me edit anymore. I meant, Dress #5 and Dress # NINE, not 8!!! I hate 8!!! With the seams on the outside and all . . . no offense to anybody who likes it, but it's just not doing anything for me at all. :(

Still like #5, though.

I think 8 would go with more body types. Some of those would not look good on bigger girls. (like me)

Hello buddy,

Wondering what to wear to mesmerize the world. I think you should wear something that look elegant on you , to add more charm in it team it with pretty bridesmaid jewelry.

I prefer dress # 8. Not only do I find the style most attractive (I think it's simple, and looks like it would be universally flattering on different body types), but if I was a brides maid this is the style I would be most comfortable wearing.

However, in I know it isn't one of the options you gave but when I clicked on dress 8, an image of style 4545 on the same website shows in the corner (the red one). I like that one best :)
