Sick pooches!

Summit has the poops (SORRY!!!) since about Sunday. I figured that she was eating goose droppings and that it would last about the day and she would be fine. She has an appetite, no fever and has energy and she can hold it until I let her out (THANK GOODNESS!). I called the vet (I have been giving her rice with her supper) and they said to just give her hamburger/rice for the next day or so and she should be fine. If she isn't any better tomorrow, I will take her in, maybe she just has a stomach bug or something. Then tonight I notice Dasie starting to get the same stuff.

I was thinking, I just bought them new bags of food about 2 weeks ago, they seem fine on that. Though, I just opened up a new box of Iams puppy treats (which has a sealed wrapper on the box). There was no damage to the box or anything, but when I took the wrapper off and opened it up, I noticed that the lid wasn't sealed that great. I am going to chuck that box of treats as that is the only thing that they eat the same of.

Uggh, I hate when they are sick!

Mine have really sensative systems and get the yuckies whenever they too much of something they are not use to.

We did have a bout of what the vet thinks was colitis about a year ago where they both had the yuckies for like a week. Meds cleared it up and a change of diet has helped since :)

Hope Summit is back to normal soon!
