Can I just say our day was awesome!!!!! If anything went wrong, I didn't know about it. It was just wonderful. I just wanted to stop by real quick. I have company coming over so I'll jump back on later with details.

The morning of, I got up at 7 am and was at the hairdresser by 9. She did not do my hair the way I wanted but after a few seconds I let it go and figured I would fix when I got back to my parents house. Once back there things were just crazy - I had time to eat breakfast and then it was non stop from there. A friend came over and did my make-up and fixed my hair. Before I knew, it was time to leave to get pics done - We decided to do our pictures before the ceremony. When we got to our location, DH had his back to me so I would have a chance to walk up and the look on his face when he turned and looked at me was priceless - it was such an amazing moment.

Ceremony: We were all lined up to start walking out, I hear the music going and right before my first bridesmaid walks out, her dress broke! She had a halter so it hooked together like a bra and the hooks broke - we couldn't believe it. So one of my aunts came to the rescue and had it fixed within a few minutes. All was good until me and my dad were standing at the door and when they opened the doors I was so nervous, I started shaking and all I could picture was me tripping. Thankfully, I made to the front without tripping. The ceremony was beautiful. Our Chaplain included my daughter into it and of course I shed my first tear while saying my vows. It was so cute too b/c there is a pic of DH wiping the tear away.

Reception: I had a blast - it was so nice to finally relax. Our Best Man's toast made me cry - it was very touching. And to my surprise my daughter did a toast and it was cutest thing ever. Since my daughter did not know she was going on our honeymoon with us (we went to disney) DH said he was going to tell her at the reception. Well, what I didn't know was when my brother and his wife were in disney in June, DH had them pic up the mickey top hat and the minnie ears with the veil so DH gets the microphone and says a few words and then says that he has a gift for everyone going to Disney - he puts his top hat on, gives me my minnie ears and then give my daughter a set of minnie ears with a veil - well, I will never forget the look on her face - she was so excited! It was great!

Thanks! I was really happy with the way most of them turned out - I'm just waiting for the CD's of the professional pics and the pics one of our groomsmen took.
