Getting more nervous

Well we finished up the shopping last night. All that's left to do is pick up the cake and the marriage license on Friday. I am getting so nervous. I don't know why but am. Well i do have more to do though. We still have to burn the cd for the reception music, make the head piece for my flower girl, make the flowers for the unity candle and some odds and ends. Oh yeah, still have to get the food together and decide even what to fix in the way of appetizers. And here i thought i was almost done. teehee. That's what i get for thinking!! But even though i am nervous i am also anxious as well. I am ready for my last name to change to Stepp. Which reminds me, is anyone just adding a hyphen to their name? keeping their maiden name and adding the married name? my FH has asked me twice now if i would like to do this. I don't know what to tell him.

I am just changing my last name. However, my mom still has her maiden name. I don't know anyone who has hyphenated their name. I really think it is all your preferance and I see nothing wrong with how anyone decides.

Hey Treasia! At least it is a good nervous right? Like when you are getting ready to get on a roller coaster. You don't know what exactly to expect but you are darn sure it will be fun!

As for the name thing. I thought about hypenating. But I decided just to keep my name. We will be hyphenating our kids names should we ever have any. (I have to remember to fill Sean in on that one of these days. :bbmrgreen: ) I have several friends who hyphenate or who have kept their maiden name as their new middle name and their married name as their new last name. You have lots of options.

About the name. I'm just changing my last name, but I am having my middle name changed to my maiden name. I think if I ever have a son I may also have him have my maiden name as his middle name just to keep it in the family.

I also want to say good luck and dont worry. Every thign will come together I am sure. And for the name thing, I know a girl who has hypenated her name and to me that seems a long thing to write lol. I am jsut changing mine. As it is I still have my ex husbands name. I can't wait to have Nihcolas' last name.
