Bling Weddings

Bling doesn't always have to be expensive; so I thought it would be fun to share ideas on adding sparkly glitz and glamour to your wedding :grinhappy:

I found really cute disposable cameras covered in rhinestones.
Which at first i thought were tacky but they were sooo cute!

Crystals (they don't have to be Swarovskis) or glass beads in vases, either lit from beneath with an LED tealight, or surrounded by tealights -- lots of impact for little $$$.

Also, larger crystals can be purchased online from bead wholesalers; we've all seen episodes of wedding shows where they drape strands of crystals from centerpieces, branches, etc... so string up your own! (they can be used later as garland on your Christmas tree).

Also, SHOP AROUND for your personal accessories and jewelry -- any site that SAYS "wedding/bridal jewelry" will charge you many times more than another site with the same item... they getcha with the "bridal!" Shop stores like Claire's and even department stores like JCPenney for lower priced options in CZ, rhinestone and crystal. Shop prom sales for tiaras.

Lighting is another way to add some romantic elegance (ok, maybe not so much "bling") ... a neat idea I have seen used a couple of times is to have those little white christmas light strands under your linens on the buffet and/or tables and such.

I think some sparkle can be added using clear glass centerpieces with clear water in them... the mixture of the water in the clear glass and the white lights reflecting off them is beautiful :happy: Ask me how I know :D
