Amazing Race isn't on yet (ha) so thought I'd send some ideas...

Why not use "photo holders" and put your table numbers in those?

Bride - $4.99 each - orientaltrading.com

Red heart photo (table number) holder - $5.99 for 3 - orientaltrading.com

"Make your own" photo blocks - $13.99 for a dozen at orientaltrading.com -
you could alternate between black & white photos of the two of you and/or red and ivory paper

And, lastly ~ I found this on google - basically, buy any photo holder you want (they are usually 2 for a $1 at any dollar store ~ in a gazillion different colors, shapes, styles, etc) and then put in black & white photos of the two of you - with the Table Number in Red printed (or even Sharpie'd) on them!

Hope you like my ideas!

We printed ours on some nice paper from the Paper Source and just used those wire photo holders (like the ones shown above). Worked out well. For our travel-themed wedding, we had a picture of us in a city with the city name on the back.

Our wedding has a french undertone and we are using names of french cities instead of numbers.

We did something interesting. We made every table number a significant number in our lives. We put a big number on there, then a small paragraph with the description. Some numbers were our years of birth, parents wedding year. The parents actually sat at their wedding year number. Ex: Table 1973 and Table 1979. We also had the year we met, the year he proposed. The days we were together. Yes, we had table number 1024, haha.

Everyone loved it and they all walked around and talked to people. It was one of the many ideas we had to get people talking!

Oh my gosh, I LOVE the idea of using certain days as table numbers with a little description on them. It reminds me of a country song... can't remember the name though, lol. I think we may just have to steal that idea. :winktongue:
