They are both Maltese, though you'd never know it by the way her ears stick up. They will go down when she gets a little bigger, though I have to say I'll be sad whent hey do. It's so cute!

Thank you! I just adore them both. They have become his and hers dogs. Pixie is a daddy's girl and Jazz is definitely my boy. We each have out own little shadow.

It's amazing how many times I've heard that lately....lol!

I mentioned adding a third at some point and FH looked like he might strangle me. What's funny is the little tiny girl has decided that she is HIS dog, like it or not! She follows him everywhere. He's such a softie about it. Every time I turn around he is holding her or loving on her. I left the other day to run errends and when I walked out the door he had Pixie on his chest sound asleep and Jazz curled up against his side on the couch. I melted.

They are so cute! Do they have underbites? My maltese has her little bottome teeth stick out...it's cute though! Every time someone comes over, they tell me they are taking her home or they are going to steal her someday...it gets kind of old.
It is amazing what a little maltese can do to a guy! My DH is just about as manly as you can get. Played sports in high school, loves sports now, works out. You know how guys try to be so manly...Sofia is really a moma's girl, but when I'm not at home, she has to have her human contact and she goes to her daddy for that! She has always got to be physically touching one of us! She got out the back door once and got lost. Poor hubby bawled! He's so gentle and affectionate with her!
would have loved to see a picture of her slewping on his chest! So cute! And congrats on your new fur-baby! They are both precious! Wanna just pick 'em both up and give them hugs and kisses!

Jazz has a very slight underbite, but it's so slight you can't see it without looking in his mouth. The little girl has a perfect bite. I got them both from a show breeder (wonderful lady), and she didn't keep Pixie for show mostly because of her size. When she shows females, if they do really well and she is able to finish them, she generally will keep them for breeding. She won't however, breed a dog that is so small. They can have a lot of complications with whelping. So she decided it was best to place her in a pet home. I couldn't be happier about it!

Bully sticks are the best thing EVER for my doggie! (Yorkie) he will chew on it for hours... I just wish I hadn't found out why they are called bully sticks lol.
We are hoping to give our dog a little sister after we buy a house in about a year in a half, how did they adjust to each other?

Yeah I could have been quite happy never knowing what bully sticks were made from LOL
These two adjusted very well and very quickly. They now play together a lot and will sleep cuddled with each other (which never fails to make me melt). They bicker occasionally over toys and bully sticks, but never anything serious. The worst has been a bit of growling. Jazz is definitely bigger then Pixie is so sometimes she gets a little overwhelmed by him. She just lets me know when she's had enough and comes running to be picked up.
As long as you pick out a second dog that has a complimentary personality, you'll be fine. Does your yorkie get along well with other dogs?
