FH & I are trying to incorporate his love of golf into our wedding where and when we can so I can still get my elegant, classy, romantic wedding and one of the areas that we are thinking about incorporating it is with our favors.
One of our favors is going to be a personalized golf ball.
Another favor that FH really likes is doing a matchbook but with golf tees in them instead. I have found them online but most places are close to $2 each and we need about 200 of them.
So I was kind of wondering if anyone has made them themselves - maybe not with the golf tees but with mints or matches?

You could just do a golf ball and golf tea wrapped in a bag of tulle :)
They are really cheap on oriental trading. but here is another site

I am in the process of making my own matchbooks with matches in them. It's rather time consuming and I only have to make about 80. So far I have only made 10. I just took apart a matchbook to make my own template and ripped out the matches to staple into the one I made. I'm really finding it a pain in the butt and am looking into buying either plain matchbooks to decorate or just buying personalized matchbooks.

I dont really know where you can find them...but I thought of a super cute saying to put on them if you get the mint ones and put a golf tee on it:
Down to a tee; we're mint to be!

Cute.
We are actually planning on getting ones that have actual golf tees in them as we thought our guests might enjoy those more. But that saying is cute.
