As most know my real first name I dont realy want to put my last name where every one can see it. There are a few who know it and know my address but it is not something I want to put out there for the whole world to see. There is alot I put on here like where I live and my first name and such. But I dont want to post too much. But for those of you who want to by all means. I just thought I would put my 2 cents worth in. This is public site on the internet. You can't be too trusting just because we all know one another here. Again just my opinion.

I agree if you don't want to say it, then by all means don't. But Amber's is posted in her signature, and she is going to be Mrs. Curry! And she is so happy about it too!!

My friends and I always joked in h.s. about what type of people we wouldn't marry, like truckers, and guys with the last name Smith and now here I am!

We'll just have to give our children really unique names to counteract the Smith!

Its a change allright! Legally, Im still Cindy Mulder. Thats what my IDs say. I have to wait until I get my marriage license back from the county clerks office before i can take it and have my stuff changed. Im starting to use Brians name, and I havent tried to write the other by mistake.....now my initials are a different story!!!! I keep writing cm instead or cr.

OK I will retract my statement about putting too much info on here. I guess it is just my opinioin. Sorry to have said anything. I am happy to be changing my name as well. Nihcolas had been talking about how his mom wanted him to take her maiden name cause his dad never had anything to do with him and he has his last name. But Nihcolas decided to keep his name and so I will tkae it.

I feel the same way. I don't really want my last name up here. I would feel comfortable with these ladies on here knowning it, but like you said, it is a public forum. I do think it is exciting getting a new last name though! I am happy to take Justin's last name too!

Though silly me I left our marriage license at my parents so I have to wait to we go down there to pick it up (there is no way I want it going through the post is case it got misplaced) so I can get my name details changed. The photographer took a photo of our wedding certificate I wish that would count as "proof of marriage".

When I sign stuff at work I've been signing my new name but if I need to sign something that I need ID for then I will have to keep signing my old name until I get drivers license etc changed.

Mine will be Mrs. Stepp in 3 days. I am excited about changing it. My first husbands name did not go well with mine at all. My middle name is May. So for the first 15 years of married life my middle and last names were May. This stunk. ;)

I took my DH's name, but I agree with Gwen ... I know some ppl here have it but I would rather not post it here in the open forum.

It is funny though because my husband is a 4th, so I am Mrs. EECIV ;)

When I was married to my ex, ppl said my name sounded like a candy or something ... use to be cool when I was dating after the divorce ;)

Back before I got married the first time, I dated a guy named Gass ... I am glad I didn't marry him :bblol:

All I will say is that I have a German last name now that I've taken my DH's. Come to think of it, I had a german last name before too but it was so bastardized by the english language. Unfortunately now too, no one seems to pronounce our last name properly either! lol

I'm sorry i don't want people i don't know knowing my last name. I will say that my new last name ryhmes with Baby.
It's funny how many people can not say it properly. They pronounce the A as 'ah' rather then 'eh'. A well.... when telemarketers call and say the wrong name it gives me an out. :D
