View Full Version : Had To Get Another Marriage Certificate

When We looked at the Marriage Certifcate We noticed they had spelt one of DH's middle names wrong. :bbeek:

It was correct in the Registry. But Our copy had an "L" missing. We never noticed it until the day after the Wedding. And couldn't do anything about it until after the Honeymoon.

We had to go back to the Registry Office where We got Married and get it changed.
By law they couldn't just add the "L" so We had to get another Certificate. So now the date of writing it is different from the Wedding date.

Oh well. It's all legal now. :D

Aw bummer deal but at least you have the official piece of paper. :)

Oh, outstanding! Great story.

FH hasn't picked a best man yet...but knowing who the contenders are you've inspired me to read everything VERY carefully! :)

They filled out the documents while drunk at the reception and signed on the wrong lines. :urgh:

Moral of the story, sign while sober!
