So we've been married now for a little over 2 weeks....17 days to be exact!!

It has really been awesome...we've dated for 5 years and lived together for 2 1/2 so nothing has really changed in that aspect, but he just seems like he's taking care of me more. It's such a good feeling!

We've been having problems with his ring though!! He's the luckiest newlewed guy I know cause he's gotten out of wearing his ring almost after the wedding till now! When he wore the ring for the first week, I don't know if he got soap under it or what but he broke out in this terrible rash underneath the ring on his finger and it swelled up and everything. So we took it in and had it sized up a little bigger while his finger healed. Then we went and got it on Thursday night, he went to work Friday at 2:00 and when I met him at 6:00 for dinner on his break he showed me his ring. There's this black enamel finishing on it, and it was flaking off!!! I was so irrate!!

So I took it in and the girls at the store couldn't believe it!! So they said they would fix it.

Well we went back last night to pick it up and it looked aweful!!! It was like they just painted over the chipped parts, it was all uneven looking and everything, ugh!!!! So they grabbed a new one from the case and are gonna resize it and he can pick it up today.

Hopefully that first one was just a lemon, they said they've never seen that happen with a ring before, so let's hope it doesn't happen a second time!!

Other than that I've been working on our guestbook scrapbook, I need to get pictures of that up on here, it's sooooo amazing!! I haven't even started the thank you cards yet : ) hahaha oooops!! Soon I promise!!!

But yeah, I look forward to keeping this journal, omg, I'm a married women!!!

That's a really nice ring. Sorry you're having trouble with it. The only time I've ever heard of something like that happening is when it's a cheap metal (I have bad reactions to certain metals). I hope the second ring works. This would be a pain to have repeat.

Ugh. I hate that. I had a reaction to my engagement ring initially, but I think it was because my finger was used to having another ring stuck on there for something like ten years and was probably in shock by the different kind of metal. At least that's my theory. It cleared up within a week.

It could possibly have been a heat rash. Was he sweating at all? Often times the body just doesn't know how to react to something new.

DH decided to wash the car with his ring on about 2 months ago. He got a nasty rash also! Hope he gets to wear it soon!

Yes he got the ring on Wednesday...he wore it Wed. and Thurs. and so far it's good. He's still not used to wearing it though now!! It's so good to see him with it on finally though!!

So we've been married for 23 days already! hahaha omg!! I love every minute of it. The other night when he came home from work he brought me a bouquet of flowers...it was the sweetest, he's always been good with flowers but it's always special when they're just because.

Then on friday (Halloween) we're gonna have a date night...go to dinner and we're gonna go see Saw V in theaters. I'm so excited, I'm gonna get all dolled up and pin-up like. I just gotta find a cute outfit!

I just took a knitting class tonight, my goal for christmas this year is to do most of the gifts I give to be homemade. I crochet and I've been painting ceramics at a local shop that fires them for you. Plus I might sew a couple blankets and I'll make a couple photo projects on either snapfish or shutterfly with our wedding photos.

I've had a headache all day today though so I might try and wrangle my doggie and my new knitting project and lay in bed...ugh...more update later.

So we've been married one month today...wow it's great though!!

We looked at a house (well a double wide manufactured home) but it's all we can afford! We pretty much really really fell in love with it! Now we just need to see if we can get approved for enough money. Then see if we wanna go through with it.

Eeeek!! We're growing up!! I'm so sick of our apartment...I kind of secretly hope we decide to get it! and that we get approved for it!!

I'm so impulsive, that's why we're great for each other, he balances me out! If it were up to me we'd be getting it, no questions asked! hahaha
