So I ordered my dress in early September. It's due to come in between mid December and the end of January. I KNOW that I was really excited to order it, but now I'm getting really nervous that it'll come in and NOT be what I want!! The tough part for me is that I coudn't try it on before I bought it because there were no stores within a hundred miles that carried it even close to my size!

I'm guessing it's normal to get nervous like this... right?

Yes it's quiet normal to be a bit edgy / nervous

I had My Dress at home from the moment i bought it. And even then i tried it on Four more times. I debated it right up until i tried it on for the Fourth time.

Sounds perfectly normal to me. Mine is being stored at my mother's house (away from my cats) , which is really a good thing or I'd be trying it on every time I was "feeling fat" just to make sure it still fits, looks okay, is really what I want, etc.

I may end up ordering a dress I can't try on because the stores around here don't carry it. But I tried on one similar and liked that one. But I'm still nervous about the thought of ordering such an expensive item without seeing how it looks on me, first. But I think if your gut told you that the dress you ordered was "the one" it will be. :)

Don't worry it will be wonderful when it arrives! Especially after your first fitting! (I had mine a few weeks ago and they actually make the dress fit you like a glove even more) If you absolutely don't like it for some reason, since your wedding is in June, I would think you would have plenty of time to exchange it right?

Trust me I know EXACTLY how you are feeling! I bought two dresses because I had a gut feeling my FH wouldn't like the one I picked and then he saw a picture in a magazine and told me how much he didn't like it. He didn't know I bought that dress. Well I ordered another one today and I am still nervous and I did try it on and on and on... LOL (I only tried it twice) I don't know why this is making me so nervous either. I guess it is very normal. It is good to know I am not the only one. I am sure when it comes in you will love it. We are all here for you. You wil have to update us when you get it.

I just ordered my dress last night from an online store. The dress is based on a Maggie design, but no one around here carries it. I'm in the same boat as you... haven't tried it on yet, and now that I was finally able to order it, I'm so nervous. They didn't have it in stock, but I should get it in 8-10 weeks, so just a few weeks for it to be altered before the wedding!

Nervous, anxious - yup I know that feeling. I got a call last night telling me that my dress should be in the first week of February. All I did yesterday was second guess my decision. The ladies here made me feel slightly better but I still can't shake the feeling completely. I'm beginning to believe this is normal no matter what. If you loved it enough to get it without even trying it on, I'm sure you're going to love, love, love it!

I'm with you. I bought my dress sight unseen, didn't try it or anything else on. So I feel nervous about when it comes - not because I'm afraid I'll hate the dress itself - more because I fear I'll hate it on ME!

I'm sure you're going to look great. I'm trying to tell myself that I bought that dress for a reason, I felt super strongly about it, and that everything always works out in the end...:)

Honey I was going through the SAME things as you. I ordered mine online because i fell in love, and NO stores carried the designer.. Therefore i took my chance being i got a great deal (430 on an 800 dollar dress)... any way It came and it was EXACTLY what i wanted. It is a little big (they say wedding dresses run small.. yea not THAT small)... i ordered a 6 because im usually a 4 in dresses.. welll turns out i Need that 4.. but its not biggie because the seamstress can always take it in. (they cant let it out).. so all in all everythings perfect!!! DONT FRET!
