Yes they are defiantely asking for money. Although if the situation is true I feel bad for them, but asking total strangers to help them with their wedding is ridiculous! And besides, if the whole country is that economically depressed what makes them better than the rest of the country to think they should get something everyone else there can't have? It is everyone's right as a human being to have food, water, and shelter, but I'm sorry it is a privelage to have a nice wedding. Tribes in the middle of Africa who barely have anything find ways to have traditional and fun marriage ceremonies for their members. When you get served lemons you make lemonaide eh. I personally would rather give my money to reputable charities to give people food and the basic neccesaites of life.

The page just started out saying he me this beautiful Bulgarian girl and the country is economically depressed. In his culture the man is supposed to pay for the wedding and he does not have the money. He wants a nice wedding ya ya ya. He gave an e-mail address for anyone that wanted to help. He never came out and said send me money, but that is what he meant.

Your website didn't help with this assumption we made either. It seemed to me like you were trying to get people to go to your website in order for you to either beg them for money or manipulate them into doing something else for you. You actually had a link on your website about having us changing our browsers too. Nothing seemed honest about your post or your website. It seemed like you were begging for money in the name of providing your girlfriend with a nice wedding. It seemed sneaky and very dishonest to me. Your whole website reeked of scam! If you want wedding help, then ask for wedding help. Don't come at people all pathetic like you're poor and can't afford a nice wedding and you want total strangers to pay for your wedding. Give me a break!

well I would have to say this is just one big scam....
I searched there screen name on MSN and it looks like they
posted the same thing on several wedding forums.. and a few of them
also believe it was just a scam..

OMG, Melissa, I did the same thing and he has posted the same thing on many many different wedding forums. Same screen name and same subject line "Help us to marry." It looks like all the wedding sites are saying exactly what we are saying. One bride said, "Dude, are you asking for money?" I imagine he might get lucky and find someone who will help them. This type of thing screws up the integrity of all websites. What a bunch of losers!!!

I didn't see the site but from what I hear, it sounds like a scam to me.

Once while I was a wedding photographer someone sent me an email saying they were in another country at the time but were getting married out here. They said they wanted my largest package and had a friend that they wanted to get to meet me and give me a check and wanted me to take a portion for payment and give the rest to his friend. Weird, I didn't even reply.

I suppose there is a chance that the language gap may be part of the problem here but still sounds like a scam to me.
