Hi Jess,

As a wedding photographer myself that is 100% digital, I may be able to help you out. For all of my weddings, I do post the proofs online for everyone to view ~ that way the bride never has to worry about taking orders, etc.

In addition to the online previews, I offer in each package the choice of either a magazine style album with every photo that was taken OR a traditional leather album with x # of 4x6 printed proofs.

As far as film vs digital ~ I personally think digital is superior to 35mm film prints any day. When I was shooting film, the largest good quality print I was able to produce was an 11x14 - 16x20 was pushing the envelope (lots of grain) ~ I just had a 20x30 printed up on double matboard & the quality was awesome (digital) ~ no pixilation what-so-ever!! I've never seen anything quite like it.

I'm sure that whoever you choose as your photographer, will work with you on what you want. I know I always do!

Robin :D

Go DIGITAL all the way! You will have much more options - online proofing, album design, retouching/editing, b&w conversion, etc. Pro digital cameras nowadays have such a great output and you'll most likely get much more images from someone digital than film.

Definitely digital; better res, and also if you ever feel like doing different stuff to your pics (for scrapbook/other purposes) you can manage and manipulate your pics with different computer software.
