I was wondering how many of you wear your make up on a daily basis, I love doing my make up but I am limiting to eye shadow, black kohl, black mascara, cheek blush and a nice lipgloss, these things I manage them in 5-10 minutes.
But when I get out I am really good! I spent half an hour on make up.

For work, I usually wear foundation, concealer, eyebrow pencil, eyeliner, lipgloss, which takes me about 10 minutes. When going out, I usually add eye shadow and sometimes blush and lipstick. I wear mascara only on special occasions because my lashes are really long naturally and mascara usually makes them look fake.

Since I work from home I only wear makeup when I go out, or I feel like making myself feel pretty.

When I do wear it, I usually only use power, eyeliner, shadow and lip gloss, sometimes lip liner too.

Here is the poll, it took me a while to figure it out with the options and everything:D

I love makeup! I always wear foundation, eye shadow, and lipstick. If I am not feeling lazy I'll wear eyeliner and mascara.

I work at a real estate office and have to get all "done up" every day. I can take a shower, dry/straighten my hair and do full make-up in 1 hour. If I don't straighten the hair and just leave it curly, I can be completely ready in 20 mins.

Yes, always. Foundation, blush, eyebrows, and mascara, everyday. And when I go out some eyeliner and some highlighting shadow.

I put foundation, concealer, and mascara on every day. Although I have a ton of eyeshadows that I LOVE, I just never wake up early enough to put it on before work.

I rarely wear makeup. It's just not that important to me, and I have always felt that if the people I hang out with can't deal with seeing the real me, then they aren't worth being my friends.

I have no issues with people seeing my 'real' face. I don't like to hide, and make-up, for me, has until recently always felt like I was trying to present a false face to the world -- literally -- by making me look like somebody I'm not.

My looks change dramatically when I wear makeup and that's why I feel like I'm lying about who I am when I wear it. It's really wierd. It's like I become somebody else!

Anyway, makeup is such a bother to put on . . . .

If I feel like I need to wear it, like for a formal event where going bare-faced just isn't an option, I'll wear a little bit of foundation to even out my freckles, some eye shadow (highlighter and regular), brown mascara because black is too severe, some blush, lipstick, and powder. Oh yeah, and I put some brown eyeliner in my eyebrows, because my eyebrows are very blonde and I tend to look like Whoopi Goldberg unless I darken them some.

Then I do my hair. And all of this takes 45 minutes! I have always envied the women that can do their entire look in 15-20 minutes.

For the wedding I don't know what I'm going to do. On the one hand, I don't want to do my own makeup and hair (because I do want to do something different that doesn't resemble everyday), but on the other hand, I don't think I have enough money to pay to have it done. We'll see.

Anyway, I think I've worn makeup about 6 times in the last year, so yeah, "rarely" is where I'm at.

I also rarely wear make-up. I really don't even know how to put it on. For the wedding I'm getting my hair/makeup done at a local salon that's been cutting my hair for years. I have a "trial run" appointment this week and am already a little concerned that they'll want to go crazy with the make-up. Plus eye makeup and my contacts...not sure how well they will get along.

No worries, I wear contacts (and as of today even a toric lens in my right eye, weird!) and I've never had a problem with eye make-up, even liner and shadow.

Overall I don't think makeup is just about hiding your true self and I don't think that it needs to be either "I need it" or "I refuse to wear it."

To me makeup is just an enhancement. If I can put on mascara and show off my long lashes or look awake and fresh thanks to blush, why not? It makes me look polished.

I really only wear makeup when I'm goin out and sometimes not even then. Hair and makeup when I go out takes less then 15-20 minutes total

I hate taking the time out to put anything on. I'm pretty sure makeup doesn't even serve a purpose.

I'm just lazy. And I also sweat as a profession - sweat and makeup just mix to create blackheads and acne.

I do enjoy the makeup, but even when I'm not working it it just seems like too much work. So I only wear it when we go somewhere OUT. Not supermarket out, but dinner and a bar out. :)

I don't ever wear makeup.
The only times I have were at my sisters wedding, my high school chior concerts, and at dances that I went to.
I really hate wearing it.

I used to wear it all the time. Did my hair and nails to. Now I dond't do anything. Since having the my last child I don't do much of anything for myself. I like to get all dolled up and go out but we never go anywhere. I actualy did my make up the other day just to see what it would look like because it had been so long. When i was still working I fixed my hair but then that has got to the point of just pulling the front back in a a hair clip or putting it all up. So now that I work at home it is easier fo rme to shower at night when DH is home to watch my climbing one year so I don't have to shower with him lol. If I got showers in the morning I could mouse my hair and fix it nice.

My days are hair up in a pony tail, no make up and no nails. ( used to do my own fake ones ). So I am a sight to see I am sure lol.

DO I like to wear make up? Yeah I would love to. But no need for it and my face is very oily. No matter what I do. And hour after washing my face it is already oily. SO make up makes it worse

I do my makeup everyday for work, but I give my skin a break during weekends and just wear moisturizer. I'll wear makeup on weekends if we go out to dinner or an event.

Good lord, I'd love to wear makeup regularly, but it makes my eyes burn and makes me break out... I probably apply makeup about 15 times a year, unless I go on a spree and wear it every day for a week to work :D

Very little unless it's a special occasion. For everyday I usually just put on some of my Lancome tinted moisturizer, mascara and lipgloss. For special occasions and holidays I use my Chanel and Bobbi Brown products.

I work in a Wellness Center, so for me to take time to put on full blown make-up is just silly. I usually apply mascara because without it I look tired. Other then that, I will wear it when we are going out. Mascara, a bronzer, eyeshadow, and eye liner. It is so natural though that you can't really tell that I have it all on.... just enhances me features. and makes me feel so PRETTY! :chimp:

If I have a special occasion like a dinner date at an upscale restaurant, a holiday party, etc. I'll put a little on, but on a daily basis, I just wear chapstick with SPF and sun-screen to protect my skin from the sun.

I used to never wear makeup unless it was a special occasion. However for the past couple of weeks I have been wearing some powder and mascara to work because I got a new hair cut that requires me to blow dry and straighten my hair, so I figured since I am up and already spending extra time on grooming I might as well put on some makeup too. However today I was tired and lazy today so I didn't bother.

The only thing I put on daily is Clinque Moisturizer and sometimes some mineral powder if I feel like it. I am a huge lip gloss girl though.

Other than that about once every other week or so I'll take the time to put on some makeup, but only like mascara and eyeshadow.

I wear it everyday since I work in an office and have to look presentable. I usually just wear my bare essentials powder foundation and lip gloss. Sometimes eye liner, it depends on how late I am running for work LOL

Have only ever worn make-up once - to my senior prom. Not that I have anything against it, just no time to fuss.

I love wearing make up. It makes me feel like a girl to get all made up. I work in a hot factory where we work out butts off and sweat a lot all the while wearing jeans, work shirts with our names (eww), arm guards, gloves, safety glasses, ear protection, and steel toe boots. So on the rare occasion that I get to put make up on, you bet your bottom dollar I will. I love being a girl. Even though I don't get to do it very often.

I love wearing make-up although I always tend to keep it simple and look natural. I use foundation, eyeshadow (not always), black mascara and lip gloss. For a more dramatic look I use a black eyeliner. I never use lipstick - lip gloss only.

Being a Mary Kay consultant, I love make up! But, I only wear mascara and eyeliner everyday, maybe a bit of lipstick/gloss if I am meeting with a client, or going into a meeting. If we are going out at night, I will put on full make up.

Well...actually, I have to amend that now that I think about it a bit more.

When I do a stage performance, I DO wear stage makeup.

Beats me why guys can't wear makeup, I mean, street makeup, like girls do.

After all, girls wear suits with button-down shirts and slacks, jeans and flannel, and so on, why can't guys horn in on this whole 'Let's make ourselves look a little better' concept?

Having been in theatre for so long, I can positively state that most guys look MUCH better with foundation and some eyeliner, to make their eyes stand out a little.

Then again, I'm wierd. I mean, I think guys ought to be able to wear skirts, socially, and I *also* think that if men get to go topless, that women ought to go topless. A nipple is a nipple is a nipple!!! Or, that if women can't go topless, then neither should men. Equality cuts both ways.
