Ok I was just wondering how you do the quote so that the person who posted it shows up as put of the quote.

In the bottom right hand corner of this post you are reading you will see a button that says "quote" on it. Click to quote what that post is saying! As far as multiple quotes by different people, I have no clue on those ones! lol
Thank you - I didn't actually notice that button. I'd been using the little speech bubble button in the reply screen.

If you are interested in knowing how to do multiple quotes, I put the steps I use at the bottom of this post. This is just the way I do it, and I'm sure others might do it differently. I'm just trying to help because I needed help too when I first came onboard here at Onewed.
Anyway, this type of quoting gives you the effect of being able to talk to two or more posters at the same time like this...

So you can comment on what Hayley originally said...

And you can comment on what Shawna said back to her too.

Here is how I do it...
First you would copy the sentence that Hayley said.
Next you would quote Shawna exactly like she told you how to do it using the quote button located at the bottom right hand corner of the post which looks like this http://forums.onewed.com/images/buttons/quote.gif (http://forums.onewed.com/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=29889).
Then you would paste Hayley's copied sentence inside the new Shawna post anywhere you want to put it. I put Hayley's sentence above Shawna's quote.
Now Shawna's post will already have quote marks around it, but you will have to put the quote marks around Hayley's sentence. So you highlight Hayley's copied sentence and push the yellow speech bubble button which looks like thishttp://forums.onewed.com/images/editor/quote.gif.
Now preview it to make sure that both posts are quoted (shaded). Then you can comment on each one separately.

You can do it Karen and Shawna said above ... sometimes I will quote multiple people in a message, but I have memorized the 'quote' code so I can quote and emote the user no problem ;)
You can hit the 'quote' button and copy one quote and then hit 'quote' again on another post and paste the first or you can just copy the text you want to quote and put the quote code with the users name in it like this - [QUOTE=MOB Karen] this is the opening tag with 'MOB Karen' as the sample user name. Then to close the tag you put the [ / quote ] (but with no spaces ;))
Hope this helps :D
