I voted "Only certain types" because I usually don't care for dark chocolate or really cheap chocolate. But I do crave chocolate quite often ;)

I don't really like all things chocolate though; I don't like chocolate ice cream for one and I normally don't like chocolate cake either. But I LOVE chocolate moose cake; anyone ever had that chocolate stampede cake from Long Horn? OMG it is so good; our local Publix makes something similar and it is just as good :drool:

YESSS, looove, but I can't eat plain milk chocolate. Way too sweet! I'm the kind that can enjoy 80% dark with a cup of black coffee. Mmm. There's nothing I can think of that I don't like a chocolate variety of.

I joke that the theme of our wedding is "things we like. and chocolate." We'll have a chocolate fountain, I'd like to have chocolate sculptures (there's a great, cute local place that does this), and chocolate in the centerpieces. Good thing for me, FH almost eats more chocolate than I do! One of my friends shares this love. She's got a chocolate fountain, a chocolate fondue set, chocolate molds, and we've even eaten CHOCOLATE PASTA.

At our house dark chocolate is a grocery list item and there's always a small stash in our kitchen shelf. It's a sad day when we run out.

I only like certain types. For the most part I'm a big fan of dark chocolate and really rich chocolate desserts.

I hate chocolate ice cream though!

So, not to hijack... but this is actually something I've always wondered about and this is a perfect forum to ask since there are so many people from so many corners of the world. On some food net work channel program they said that American women prefer chocolate (which I think is true) while women from over seas prefer creams... any truth to that?

I LIKE chocolate, and I love GOOD chocolate, but I'm not a chocaholic by any stretch.

When other women are "craving" chocolate (i.e. PMS), I'm craving milk, hard cheese and green veggeis (what can I say, I'm a mutant).

I do prefer dark chocolate to milk (milk is just too sweet for me), and I also love white chocolate (even though it's not actually chocolate at all).

I LOVE chocolate. Dark chocolate is my all time favorite but any kind will do. DH has a nack for finding me some good chocolate. He will ask if I need anything if he goes out some where and I will say chocolate. He will ask me what kind and I just can't decide. So he brings home this most amazing chocolate. One of my favorites is Lindor Truffles. I like the dark chocolate one and they have some that are white with cocoa crunchies in the middle. OMG soooo good. SO yes I love chocolate and I will take anything that is chocolate. I made a chocolate brownie cookie with fudgy frosting. They were so good. The next time I made them I put chocolate chips in them. As if it needed more chocolate.

Oh yeah and chocolate brings out the taste in other foods. Like chips taste saltyer and what not.

Ok I just had about 4 dark chocolate trouffles and now am eating chocolate pudding. Thanks for posting this thread. I will want chocolate all night now lol. Oh it could be worse I guess.

I am a chocoholic as well. So is FH! I am not crazy about some chocolate, but if that's all there is, I will consume it!

My ultimate favorite is French Silk Pie. YUMMY!:wub:

I voted "I like it ok" but now I think I should've just said I love it, haha. There's times when I don't feel like eating it though, so I don't always love it... which is why I said I like it ok. I'm not sure if I like dark chocolate better, or milk chocolate. Probably milk chocolate 'cause I have to be in the right mood to really enjoy dark chocolate.

Chocolate ice cream is my favorite kind, but I'm not really a big fan of chocolate milk. Every once in awhile, it will sound really good, and I'll drink a glass... but I don't like drinking it with a meal.

Right now brownies sound reaaallly good. I haven't had them in a long time. Mmmm.

I LOVE CHOCOLATE!!!! The only kind i dont like is white or with mint, I like mint but not with chocolate. Weird. That is my only diet downfall, but I Keep the Hershey Miniatures around for when the craving stikes. My absolute fav thing is to melt PB and pour over chocolate ice cream.HMMM. good thing there is no ice cream here or I would have to take a break.:cloppy:

I love chocolate in *almost* all its forms. That said, I vehemently dislike chocolate mixed with other things, like nuts or pretzles or fruit.

And while I'll eat cheap chocolate like Hershey's, if there's nothing else available, I admit it, I am a chocolate snob. I much prefer the higher end stuff -- which is good, because then I have to PAY for it, once financially and again when I gain weight and have insulin spikes. So I don't get a lot of it!

I enjoy Godiva's double dark chocolate truffles though, and I like high-quality dark chocolate that's about 70-85%. Any higher than that and my mouth starts to pucker, it's like eating lemons :) I strongly prefer dark chocolate to milk, and I enjoy chocolate cake and ice cream.

I also like white chocolate and chocolate creams . . . they're my favorite. I liked Fanny Farmer until they ceased to exist here!

As a general rule I really like chocolate, but reading all these other responses I have discovered I'm really picky about it - I like chocolate covered nuts, but not fruit (except the occasional chocolate covered strawberry). I am not a huge fan of dark chocolate, although if it's offered I'll rarely turn it down and I don't eat much solid chocolate. I'm also not a huge fan of super-rich chocolate cakes and pies, but I will go through a pan of brownies or a blender full of chocolate milkshakes like there's no tomorrow!

I'm a major chocoholic! FH and I were just talking last night about how the way to my heart is chocolate! Haha, we were leaving the Cheesecake Factory and he was laughing at how giddy I was to eat my Kahlua chocolate cheesecake...

Ok, so just realized that I am a FREAK! I am the only one who voted, no not a fan. lol, I'm not that into sweets. Once every 2 or 3 months, I'll eat a hershey kiss, but that's it. Or when my blood sugar gets way to low too fast, I'll pop a chocolate in my mouth to bring it back up, but that's usually a back up to my glucose pills, so not normally. I just don't like it that much. although, if I eat ice cream, it has to be chocolate, but that's RARE!

I have never been known to turn chocolate down and I do have a love hate relationship with it, but I do not need it ALL the time. I go through food cravings with food in general, not just chocoalte.

Right now when I crave food it is sour gummie worms, cake (ummmmmmm cake!), and Mocha BK Joe from Burger King. :hungry:

I really love chocolate!

I have always cravings for chocolate but I dont eat it that often. Once or twice a month I will offer this pleasure to myself ;) but thats it.

I suppose I wont count the teaspon of nutella I eat sometimes, LOL!!

The only thing I dont like is some hot chocolate where there is hardly any chocolate in it. (Hot milk with some cocoa)
