The collection thread in General Chat reminded me of this ...
Anyone have a collar collection for your furbabies?
I have 14 for each dog right now ;) I just love to change them out so they don't have to wear the same thing (or I don't have to look at it) all the time. Plus having a few really makes them last longer :grinhappy:
I know some others that have it much worse than me with upwards of 30-50 or more!

lol, I was hoping you would start a thread on this! I've never counted her collars or leashes, but Sofia probably has at least 20. And for every collar, she gets a matching leash! Her most recent collar is my favorite. It's pink and says "spoiled" in real gold-plated letters around the collar. It also has a little gold dollar sign where you slide the collar in after you buckle it-if that makes any sense. I think I spent like $26 for it, but I couldn't find a leash that matched. :irked:

When we first started buying them we'd do matching leashes, but now we just have black leashes.
The most I have spend on a collar is like $10; I don't plan to ever spend more than that either ;)
I found this place online (HappyTailCollar.com) that makes custom martingales (sort of like a choke collar without the chain; good for sighthounds ... she makes other kinds too) for cheap, so I mostly buy from there now :D

This is wild! A wardrobe for the pets. Too cute! I know it's mostly for dogs, but do any of you know of cat leashes/collars to take cats outside?

I don't think I would have normally bought it. But I had seen it at Petsmart three times before buying it. I finally bought it for her for Christmas. You might want to check out PetEdge.com. They have some great deals on stuff, but make sure you look at the size of the toys before buying any!

Our kids have several collars, leashes, harnesses, and clothing items apiece. I prefer Lupine collars for our crew since they have a lifetime guaranteed (even if chewed for those of you with chewers.)
They also carry the combo (martingale-style) collars in the 3/4" and 1" widths, which is great since I have one who can slip a regular collar.
We also have collars from Old Navy, Pet Edge, and Mrs. Bones. We donated about 15 collars last time around to a nearby rescue group.

I used to have a Harness for My Old Cat Sox (Ex-Husband got custody of Sox. And i don't know if Sox is still alive :bbcry: )
Sox would try to play with the lead so it never worked out.
As for Our Cat now. I can't ever see Him going out on a lead. He's too much of a nutter for that.
He has the nickname "Utter Nutter" for a reason.

My cats don't wear collars.. They are stupid and will get their jaws stuck trying to take them off! LOL! I've tried!
Doesn't really matter.. My kitties don't go outside!

My cats won't wear collars, either. I bought them some with their names in those crystal letters, and within a week, one of them had gotten the collar off and there were teeth marks all over it. I guess she just kept chewing on it until it fell off...now that I think about it, I guess Sofia could have been biting the collar. But they stay inside, too, so it doesn't really matter whether or not they have collars.
