Well, I am back and I just want to say thank you to everyone for all of their help that they have given me over the last couple of months! I would not have been able to get through all of this without all of my girls here on OneWed! You have all truly been a lifesaver!
We decided awhile ago that we would not be going on our honeymoon until February or March so that we don�t have to deal with hurricane season, plus at that point with WI weather I am sure that we will be missing the warm weather! Soooooo�� We are back at work! L I will try and update if I can throughout the day, but I have a lot of stuff that I should really try and get done! So it might not be until tomorrow�.. I will try and get something up for you guys!

I am usually the one with the camera, but did not bring mine at all this week! Waiting for people to get me pictures is KILLING me!!! I try and post some as I get them.
Wednesday night one of the groomsman got into town and we went out to eat with him and his girl friend. Then on Thursday night we went out to eat with Josh brothers (one who just got in to town) and their girlfriends. Then we met a bunch of the bridal party out for some drinks. I had a very organized list of all the things that had to get done the week of the wedding and we had plenty of time to do everything. It was a little hectic, but Josh even got to go hunting Thursday morning. He was planning on going Friday morning too, but had been coming down with a cold all week and figured that he was better off resting.
Friday we had the rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner. Everything went really well and went very quick! We decided that we wanted to include Moose (our two year old chocolate lab) in our ceremony. We practiced with him throughout the week and he did awesome at the rehearsal dinner. Here he is practicing!

He had an oatmeal bath the day before, it is supposed to help with his dry skin. I guess it helped! I will be back soon to post more.....

We brought him home and then went out to dinner at a local Mexican restaurant. Josh�s dad got up and tried to make a speech, but could not hold back the tears. It was very emotional. After he thanked everyone for coming I decided that it was my turn. My speech turned out really good, people laughed when they were supposed to, and they cried along with me. I practiced it so many times on Thursday and Friday and didn�t think that I would have any problem getting through them. WOW was I wrong! I had to stop a couple of times because I could not keep the tears in. No one has any pictures form dinner :ooh: But afterwards couple of us decided to head to a local bar and hang out. So I have a few form then.....

He did surprisingly well at the wedding! My mom was really worried how he would be with all of the people, but we have been socailizing him A LOT ove the last year trying to get him ready for this.

After the bar Josh and I had to go our separate ways. One of my bridesmaids spent the night at my house which made a little easier! We stopped for another drink; I was not tired yet and thought that maybe that would help. We went home to bed and I laid there and thought about how I had been waiting for this day for so long and it is finally here! I did my normal be time routine and wathed soem TV. I finally convinced myself to shut the tv off so I could get some sleep so that I did not look like cr@p in the morning. I woke up at 2:30am and was ready to go! I Looked at my clock saw what time it was and laughed. Then made myself go back to bed then I woke up again at 6:30am and decided that I might as well get up. My bridesmaid saw my light come on and came in into my bedroom and gave me a huge hug! �Weeeeeeeee! It is your wedding day� she said. I was so excited! Our day was fianlly here!
The girls met us at the house and we drove our vehicles to the ceremony site. The limo bus picked us up and brought us to get our hair done.

My aunt had picked up bagels and Danish for us, as well as orange juice and champagne. She also got these HUGE caramel apples! They were GREAT! All the girls got their hair done and did their makeup.

Here is a pre wedding shot of the boys! Josh thought that I would be upset about it. I think it is hilarious! The sign is actually from Halloween decorations that I had in the front of our yard!

We got to the site and there was very little to do. My aunts had gone in the morning and set everything up for us. They were huge lifesavers. We just had to put the finishing touches on after we were there. They did a great job.
The ceremony was wonderful! The bus driver brought us from the hall down to the ceremony site and we all exited the bus without anyone seeing us until we came off the bus. The bus driver said okay ladies this is it, we don�t have to stop once we get down there, we can keep going if you want. We thought it would be a little funny to circle the parking lot�.. but if the boys did that to us we all agreed that we would be really mad!

We had cornstalks and hay bales against the arbor and pumpkins and gourds all over the hay bales. My aunts really pulled my vision together better than I had ever dreamed! This is a picture of some of the groomsman up front. This is the best picture that I have right now.

I kept getting yelled at because I kept trying to sneak looks at Josh! I just wanted to see him! I got to see Moose run down the aisle with the basket! SO CUTE! Everyone cheered! At first he would not take the basket to walk down the aisle, they turned down the music a little so that he could here Josh calling him and he took off like lightning down the aisle. I was glad that he didn�t decide to stop and pee on someone halfway down the aisle!!!!
The song came on for our mothers to walk down the aisle and all of us girls got in a circle on the bus and held hands. That is when I almost lost it. I had to remind myself to breathe deep. If I started to cry I would be all blotchy for pictures and I didn�t have any make-up on the bus to fix anything. Waiting on a women started to play as the girls started to exit the bus me knees started to shake a little. My dad assisted all the girls as they came down the bus. They came off the bus waited at the first ach way and the person that they were standing up in the wedding with came and got them and walked them down the aisle.

My sister was the last one to go and I was like �OH SH*t� This isn�t planning anymore this is real! The last year of planning is finally coming to an end. She turned and looked at me and said in her stern voice that I always used to give to her when she would get sad. �Oh stop it!� Then she said "just remember, you are the, (as she lifts her arms and blows under her arms) beneath my wings. She always sings that song to me with actions and she knows it gets me to laugh. She gets off of the bus and I am there along to wait for the music to change.... I peak around the corner so I can hera the music a little better and there is my dad. He asks me �you ready little one?� Almost lost it at that point too��.

I took a second to breathe and came out of the limo. My dad straightened my dress and we were off down the aisle. Josh had tears in his eyes and I could not take my eyes off of him. I was so excited to get down the aisle so that I could be by him. Both of Josh�s brothers were fighting back tears and their dad was shaking. I had to make sure that I did not focus on them or I knew I would lose it.

We wrote our own vows and those were very emotional as well. I threw in some humorous stuff in the middle of mine. I needed to make sure that I could get through the whole thing. That helped a lot. Joshs vows were better then I could have ever imagined! He showed his emotion and really told everyone how much I mean to him. It was wonderful!

We had numerous people come up to us and tell us it was the most emotional ceremony that they have ever been too. One of my bridesmaid�s moms who never cries and is very catholic told her that she shed a tear and that she should think about getting married outside instead of the church because everything was so amazing and spiritual.

I am a little bias, but I think it was the most amazing day ever!

Our candy buffet was a HUGE hit! We had to refill a lot of the candy within 30 minutes after dinner. We had very little candy even left at the end of the night! I was really excited with the way it turned out and very little is different from what I had originally envisioned.

We then went right into our first dance. Right before the chorus of the song Josh spun me and dipped me to kiss me. As he did this the song faded out into Trouble with the boys. I gave the DJ a look that could kill. My future father in law thought �oh man this guy is dead!� Don�t worry this was all planned�. We went into �the routine� that Monica and Ross Gellar do on the show FRIENDS (season 6, disc two Dick Clark�s new years rockin eve) Then we went back into our slow song! We got such a great response and I really think that it showed people what we were all about. Having fun!

Our grad march was a little different, the guys came out with antlers on their head and us girls came out with bows and arrows. the guys came in first and we ambushed them! It was so much fun!

Removal of the garter. Originally I did not even want to do this. I always felt dumb doing this as a single girl, but we had a lot of participation. We even had a little smothing funny planned out for this, we went in to the brides room and I head some stuff under my dress for him to pull out. The crowd loved that. :D

Thank you! I am so excited to see the professional pictures! So many people have been showing me their pictures and if their shots are that good the photographers are going to be great! I just wich more people would have put their pictures onto the photbucket site.

I am also very excited to see the video that Joshs cousin put toghter for us. He is doing it free of charge! YAH for family with hidden talents!

Thank you! My friend wrote in a card to us when we first got ingaged and I thought that it really fit us. We love to have fun and play together!

Congratulations Looks like you had alot of fun!!( gotta love those wisconsin weddings haha) You had great weather. I like your BM dresses and am excited to see those colors bc those are my Bm colors so it is always a relief to see them. I was at a wedding this weekend and saw the blackand brown tuxes and LOVED them. Congrats again.

Have you posted your dresses on here yet..... I am going to have to go and look for them! I never would have thought that I would go with brown dresses, but the color looked great on everyone!

Not a dumb question at all!

The grad march has been done in a lot of different ways at the weddings that I have been to, but I will give you the basics;

The couples are announced onto the dance floor one at a time, and then the bride and groom are announced. They will then do what is called the tunnel of love where the male and female will line up across from eachother and join hands. when the married couple tires to make thier way through the tunnel the couple will drop their hands down (kind of like that came london bridge is falling down) and then you have to kiss before you are allowed to continue.

After this they will have a slow dance in which the bride and groom are circled by the bridal party, or the bridal party will dance as well. Then the DJ or someone in the group will yell out switch and you wil dance with different people in the wedding party.

Sometimes this will include all guests willing to participate. Hope this helps!

Sounds like fun! I like the kissing part :)

I did something similar at my first wedding. The DJ announced each couple and their role as we entered.

It wasn't until our last dance that the bridal party (and our guests) circled us. One SIL broke out streamers and confetti and the next thing I knew, we were totally covered in the stuff.

One of the groomsman posted some more pictures from his and his girlfriends camera! YAH!!!! He did an awesome job of going around and getting [ictures of people on the dance floor. Sometimes I think people get missed with photographers and he must have been running around all night getting pictures!

The garter and bouquet toss winners! We planned that they would both get the garter and bouquet. They are going to be the next to get married! They are so great together. Plus the DJ does a third part to the garter and bouquet toss. He has the guy place the garter on the girls leg. The farther up he gets it the longer our marriage will be! They were so funny when they were trying to do this!

It was one of the few thigns that Josh really wanted to have. And it worked out great because they are reversable. The boys and dads were black for the ceremony and Joshs was white, then they reversed to snow camo, mossy oak and blaze orange. The guys thought it was the greatest thing ever!

That is soo cool! I really like it because of course, in Wisconsin, fall means deer hunting season!!!
